Follower's Burden	Increases all damage you deal by 1.00% for each summon you control, up to a maximum increase of 6% Decreases all damage taken by your summons by 1.5%. Unlocks at Rank 3

The Necromancer is a class that has great synergy with pet-based gems and offensive gems due to the Necromancer's nature of dividing damage between the Necromancer and its pets. Skeletons and Golems can easily tank damage so focusing on durability is often considered a poor choice for the Necromancer.

Berserker's Eye

Increases your damage but also increases the damage you take. Fortunately, this is not an issue for the Necromancer as your summons can easily divide enemy attention which naturally increases your survivability. Play around with your summons and you should not even feel the downside of this gem.

Everlasting Torment

Everlasting Torment is a critical-based gem and it works wonders for all classes but especially more for the Necromancer. The Necromancer has a natural synergy with the Shepherd set which at 4 sets, grants the Necromancer a flat 18% critical strike bonus with 6 summons up.

Follower's Burden

An easy flat bonus damage multiplier for the Necromancer. Necromancer is the only class that can easily make use of this gem at the moment and to such a great extent so make sure to use this if you're playing a pet-based build.

Bloody Reach

Increases the damage you deal to enemies the farther you are away from them. This works wonders for the Necromancer since the gem tracks the damage bonus based on your position not your summons so all your summons will instantly deal more damage just by you walking away from enemies they are hitting. We do not advise using this gem if you don't have the Golem skill in your character build or have it but have it's taunt property removed.

Blood-Soaked Jade

The best gem in the game and is a must-have for any character in the game. It flat out gives an insane amount of DPS which is welcome for any build with the Necromancer not being an exception.

Fervent Fang

Can easily be stacked to the maximum with your pets and damage over time skills. Avoid taking this gem if you don't have high damage over time skills or summons that can attack in quick successions like the Skeletal Mages and Skeleton warriors.

3	Corpse Explosion	Detonate all corpses in the target area, each corpse dealing X damage to all nearby enemies. Enemies struck by multiple simultaneous explosions take 40% cumulatively reduced damage for each additional hit.
20	Skeletal Mage	Summon an immobile skeletal mage for 13 seconds that throws bolts of soulfire in a direction, each dealing X damage to all enemies in the bolt's path. You may not command more than 6 total skeletal champions and skeletal mages.
50	Command Golem	Summon a bone golem for 24 seconds. When summoned, it will deal X damage to all nearby enemies and Stun them for 2 seconds. While it is active, you can order the golem to leap to a nearby location, where it will deal damage and force all nearby monsters to attack it for 6 seconds.

Having pets is the Necromancer's identity and each summons has its perks and skillset (which also changes depending on the legendaries equipped). These skills also enable a lot of items and gems to work wonders for the Necromancer so make sure to adjust your gears accordingly depending on the summons you have.

Aside from summoning skills, the Corpse Explosion skill is also one of the best skills you can slot in for the Necromancer as it greatly speeds up the Necromancer's clear speed against most enemies except raids.

A standard stat priority for Necromancer builds except for Willpower. Most of the Necromancer's stat priorities are offensive ones as we rely on summons to take the brunt of the damage for us which allows us to focus less on defensive stats than offensive ones.

We included Willpower in the stat priorities only for Necromancers that wish to bring the class to PvP as the Necromancer has a versatile kit that relies on applying crowd control to enemies with Bone Spike as a supportive and offensive tool. Otherwise, focus on the other stats if you wish to focus on PvE content.
