Circle Around It Use Area of Effect Attack

Regardless of where you go, Grimaldi will not stray from his position near the center of the fight area. Due to the slow nature of his attacks, you can get away with circling him, giving you a chance to easily dodge any of his attacks while being able to dish out some of your own.

Use Area of Effect Attacks

Effective when he summons regular enemies to fight for him, you can use area of effect attacks to knock out the regular enemies that harass you. This not only deals with the summoned enemies but also allows you to damage Grimaldi as well.

Grimaldi the Flaming Soul Attack Patterns

Fireball

Grimaldi will be able to summon several balls of fire from the sky that drop down on top of you. Unfortunately, any sign of where these fireballs may land will not be easily seen – instead, you must rely on remembering Grimaldi's animation for this attack and then moving elsewhere once he does it to avoid the flames.

Quick Dash

An attack with a very quick animation transition, where it will appear as if Grimaldi "flashes" forward before retreating to his central position. This attack generates little damage, which offsets the fast animation.

Explosion

The effects of this attack cannot be easily seen if you are not caught within its effects – Grimaldi will summon a red circle to appear where you are. Once he executes the attack, a small, "invisible" explosion will occur that knocks you back.
