Can You Play Solo?

Diablo Immortal - Can You Play Solo

Though Diablo Immortal is a game that puts an emphasis on co-op gameplay, it can be played solo. Read on to learn which features cannot be played solo.

Can You Play Diablo Immortal Solo?

Diablo Immortal Can be Played Solo

Diablo Immortal - Solo Player

The short answer is Yes, Diablo Immortal can be played solo. Most of the familiar Diablo PvE content will be accessible to solo players including the Campaign, Elder Rifts, and Dungeons.

While Diablo Immortal is the first multiplayer Diablo entry of its kind, it is entirely possible to play the game solo. As stated, most of the game's PvE content can be solo'ed provided you are upgrading your gear as you level up.

Party Finder Makes Multiplayer Accessible

Some of Diablo Immortal's PvE content will be gated by either game difficulty settings or party requirements. When this happens, gated solo players can simply use the Party Finder to get a party going or use the global chat to look for a group, easily.

When tackling difficult dungeons or particularly hard rifts, solo will sometimes not cut it unless you have a very optimized build and gear set. Consider partying up when you hit walls like these as Diablo Immortal was developed to be a multiplayer experience.

Content that Cannot be Played Solo

Higher Difficulties Require Groups

After completing the campaign and reaching level 60, players will have access to higher difficulty settings (e.g, Hell 1-4) that powers up every monster that you will encounter as well as improve the drops. Although you can still play solo on Zones, the Dungeons within will actually require a certain number of party members before you can enter.

Helliquary Bosses Cannot Not be Solo'ed

Diablo Immortal - Helliquary Raid

Helliquary raids are turned into an 8-man raid instance from its original 4. Each raid can only be started once the Raid group reaches the limit of 8 players. This is where Warbands come in handy.

Even if you reach the required Combat Rating or even get way over it, the game won't allow you to go solo against any of the Helliquary bosses.

PvP Content Cannot be Played Solo

Diablo Immortal - Battleground

With a sizeable chunk of Diablo Immortal's endgame loop being set aside for PvP game modes, it is safe to say that playing solo will only get you so far once you hit max level cap.

For players looking to explore some of Diablo Immortal's new features (like the Cycle of Strife and Battlegrounds), do note that most of these activities will need to be played as a group rather than as a solo.

You can only play Solo on Normal mode. The dungeons on Hell difficulties can't be played Solo. More often than not, you can't find party especially on Hell 2 and below.

I dont get why people keep saying you can play diablo immortal solo when there's always other players attacking the same monsters that you are even while solo
