Diablo Immortal

Multiplayer Guide: How to Play Co-Op

Multiplayer Guide

Diablo Immortal features co-op multiplayer where players can form groups to play with one another. Read on to learn more about co-op multiplayer, how to add your friends, what groups you can join, and why you should play co-op multiplayer in Diablo Immortal!

How to Play Multiplayer

Join a Clan

Diablo Immortal - Join a Clan

Clans are a great way to find other players in Diablo Immortal. If you don't have a clan yet, you can find one by clicking the drop down menu on the top left corner of your screen and clicking Clans. You can then apply for a clan if they still have spots open.

If you don't feel like joining a clan, you can always create your own. However, do note that creating a clan costs 3000 Platinum. While these can be earned in-game, the price is rather steep for unsure players.

Join a Warband

Diablo Immortal - Join a Warband

Warbands are temporary 8-man groups that are perfect for players who wish to work together towards a common goal. Some PvE activities, such as Helliquary Raids, will offer better rewards if you complete it with a Warband.

However, unlike Clans, the main Warband menu has no search function! The only way to get into one is to stumble upon it by refreshing the in-game finder page or being personally invited by the Warband's creator.

Hang Out in the Area You Want to Play In

If you don't have a clan or a warband yet but still want to play with other players to clear a dungeon or do an activity, all you need to do is to hang outside the dungeon or area where you want to do the activity.

If other players are doing the same thing you are, the game will automatically suggest you party up to share kills and complete objectives faster. If you decide you want to, hit the check mark to confirm that you want to party up.

How to Add Friends

Add Friends via the Friend Menu

Players looking to only play and make parties with their friends can head over to the Menu > Friends section and click the Add Friend button. From there, enter your friend's Battle.net ID to send them a request.

1
Open the Menu and select the Friend button.
2
Click Add Friend and enter the Battle.net ID of your friend. Hit send to shoot them a friend request.

Multiplayer Modes

Co-Op PvE Activities

Multiplayer

Many of Diablo Immortal's PvE activities can be accomplished via co-op. Use the many party finders available for Dungeons, Rifts, and Helliquary Raids to easily team up with other players and reap the rewards of group play. As a bonus, Dungeons will offer boosted gem drop rates if you're in a party.

PvP Battlegrounds

Diablo Immortal - PvP

Aside from a co-op campaign, players can also team up with their friends to go against other players in PvP Battlegrounds. Come up with great strategies and learn to be in sync with your team to emerge victorious!

If you and your friends are particularly competitive, consider participating in your server's Cycle of Strife to hopefully become one of the legendary Immortals that dominate the server!

Obtain More Rewards

Diablo Immortal - To Get More Rewards

Diablo Immortal incentivizes players who play in groups. Conquering dungeons and slaying foes together with other people are more rewarding than doing it all alone. We recommend socializing with other players as much as you can for a much more fun and efficient gaming experience!

Clear Dungeons Faster

Diablo Immoral - Clear Dungeons Faster
With more players, the damage output of your team as well as damage taking capability increases. You can also delegate roles such as having a boss killer on your team to focus only on bosses and a crowd killer to clear normal mobs to make dungeon clearing much more efficient.
