Speedy Crowd Control Build

Diablo Immortal - Imprisoned Fist PvP Build Image
This build's main function is to Stun or knock enemies away with Imprisoned Fist and Cyclone Strike, and deal supplementary damage with Mystic Allies, while quickly zipping in and out of the battlefield. It uses Agility to its advantage with increased movement speed and mobility skills like Flying Kick.

Windloft Perfection Set for Speed

All 6 pieces of the Windloft Perfection Set will need to be equipped in order to get the full benefit, as the whole set grants you a buff that increases movement speed, increases damage dealt, and protects you from damage while it is active.

Equipment Adds Crowd Control

Freedom's Gale now makes Imprisoned Fist Stun enemies instead of Immobilizing them. Tempest's Heart then turns Cyclone Strike into a move that knocks enemies away, instead of drawing them in. Imprisoned Fist gains 1 more charge with Isolation's Path, giving you more opportunities to Stun enemies.

Legendary Gems with Useful Effects

The Echoing Shade Legendary Gem may be the most useful Gem in this build, as it can summon a clone that possesses some of your skills, effectively doubling the amount of crowd control you're able to do.

Fervent Fang and Power & Command both work to increase your attack power, while the Gems Blessing of the Worthy and Howler's Call add AoE damage for when you deal damage and receive damage.

Stats and Paragon Priorities

Attribute Priorities

Strength Strength is vital for any Monk build, as dealing a sufficient amount of damage should be sought after in every member of the party.
Willpower Willpower makes it so that your Stuns have a longer effect on enemies. More of this stat will also make it harder for enemies to pin you down with their own crowd control skills.
Movement Speed Speed is key for this build, and being able to move faster than others will make it easier for you to get in and do crowd control, as well as get out of danger quickly.
Critical Hit Chance Crits get the DPS going. More Critical Hit Chance is good to have in any build, as it increases the amount of damage you're able to do.
Vitality Having enough HP to survive a barrage of enemy skills is vital to survival.

Paragon Priorities

Survivor > Gladiator> Soldier

First, start off with Survivor to increase your defense and survivability. Then, aim for Gladiator to gain some PvP perks for your party. Then, end with the Soldier Paragon skill tree to gain even more defensive perks for your party.

How to Play

Bring Out Mystic Allies and Keep your Distance

With this build, it's not a good idea to rush in, lest you get clobbered. Let your Mystic Allies engage with the enemy first. If you have party members, let your Crusaders or Barbarians do it.

Charge in with Flying Kick

If the enemy is engaged, or has used their skills and are on a cooldown, rush in with Flying Kick to get up close. You don't need to hit the enemy with it, just get close enough so that your primary attack Fists of Thunder can send you the rest of the way.

Stun Enemies with Imprisoned Fist

When you're in melee range, use Imprisoned Fist to Stun them, then beat them up with your primary attack. If you still haven't brought out Mystic Allies, now would be a good time. If the enemy tries to escape, use more charges of Imprisoned Fist to stall them again.

Use Cyclone Strike to Knock Back Enemies

Since Cyclone Strike now knocks back enemies due to Tempest's Heart, use this skill to displace, separate, and keep enemies away from you or your party members, especially if you're outnumbered or being chased.

When in Trouble, Escape with Flying Kick

If things are starting to look dicey, making a tactical retreat with Flying Kick is sometimes the best route. Get used to the flow of battle, then you'll be able to make snap decisions on when best to attack or retreat.
