Aspirant's Key	Used to open chests in Iben Fahd's Sanctum.	Earn from Battle Pass Purchase in a limited amount from the Hilt Vendor. Limited amount can be acquired in Iben Fahd's Sanctum.
Crest	Used when opening an Elder Rift to add a modifier to the Rift. Completing the Elder Rift is guaranteed to reward Runes.	Purchase from the in-game store. Purchase from the Hilt Vendor. Earn from Battle Pass. Earn from the free daily Crest.
Eternal Orb	A rare commodity used to purchase Cosmetics, Eternal Legendary Crests, Reforge Stones, Platinum, and more.	Bought from the in-game store using real money.
Fading Ember	Used at the Fading Embers and Runes trader to purchase Runes for crafting Legendary Gems.	Acquired by running Elder Rifts.
Gold	Used to improve equipment and to make purchases at certain vendors.	Dropped by enemies and can be looted from chests.
Hilt	Exclusive coinage of the Knights of Westmarch. Use at the Hilts Trader to purchase Crests, Reforge Stones, Gems, and more.	Earn from Battle Pass.
Legendary Crest	Use when opening an Elder Rift to add two modifiers to the Rift. Completing the Elder Rift is guaranteed to reward a bound Legendary Gem.	Purchase from the in-game store. Purchase in a limited amount from the Hilt Vendor. Earn from Battle Pass.
Mark	Improves your rank within the Shadows.	Acquired by completing activities for the Shadows faction.
Moonsliver	Tiny crescent moons carved from the teeth of some dead animal. Offer them to the moon to obtain Blessings.	Special event currency that can only be obtained during the Hungering Moon limited time event.
Platinum	Used at the Market and specialty vendors.	Can be bought from the in-game store using Eternal Orbs.

Complete Challenges and Quests

Hilts and Gold can be earned normally by playing the game. Complete the different quests, side quests, and area challenges to receive certain amounts for every objective accomplished.

Free and Paid Amounts via the Battlepass

Like with most games that have this system, Diablo Immortal's Free Battle Pass will grant you certain amounts of hard-to-earn currency such as Hilts whenever you level it up.

However, should you opt to buy the Empowered Battle Pass, you will receive more types of currency that opens up gated content that you would otherwise miss out on as a F2P player. Make sure to weigh the pros and cons before buying an Empowered pass.

Defeat Enemies and Bosses

The most common form of currency, Gold, can be acquired simply be fighting and defeating all the different enemies and bosses scattered throughout Sanctuary. Make sure to gather as much as you can as costs for equipment upgrades ramp up once you hit the 4th level up.
