Talismans are Key Items in Shin megami Tensei V (SMT V). Read on to know how to use Talismans, and where to get them.

How to Use Talismans

You Don't Need to Use Talismans

Talismans cannot be used nor equipped. So long as you have a Talisman in your inventory, any demon you use in battle will be able to use the Magatsuhi skill. The Talismans won't be consumed, and will never disappear.

Talismans Are Race-Specific

Demons can only use Magatsuhi skills from their specific race Talisman. For example, only demons of the Haunt race will be able to use the Haunt Talisman Magatsuhi skill.

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Critical	All attacks, including magical attacks, will become Critical hits for all allies for 1 turn.
Where to Get
This is not a Talisman. The Nahobino has this by default, and all of his party members will be able to use the Omagatoki: Critical Magatsuhi skill.

Haunt Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Twilight Wave	Heavy Physical attack to all foes. Chance of inflicting sleep.
Where to Get
Obtainable from the A Preta Predicament sidequest given by Pretas near the starting area. Complete the quest to get the Haunt Talisman as a quest reward.

Raptor Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Accursed Poison	Chance of inflicting an ailment (stronger ailments prioritized) to all foes and lowers all stats by 1 rank for 3 turns.
Where to Get
Obtainable from the Movin' on Up sidequest, given by an Oni west of the Nagatacho Leyline Fount. Complete the quest to receive the Raptor Talisman as a quest reward

Megami Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Eternal Prayer	Full HP recovery, ailment and/or death recovery for all allies (stock included).
Where to Get
The Megami Talisman is obtainable from the The Horn of Plenty sidequest, given by Demeter at the northern point of Chiyoda.

Avian Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Accursed Poison	Chance of inflicting an ailment (stronger ailments prioritized) to all foes and lowers all stats by 1 rank for 3 turns.
Where to Get
Given as a reward for collecting 30 Mimans. Simply go to Cadaver's Hollow and Gustave will give you the Avian Talisman if you have at least 30 Mimans.

Divine Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Sea of Stars	Moderate MP recovery to all allies.
Where to Get
Obtainable from an Angel near the container house where you fought Loup Gaou.

Yoma Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Potential	All potentials are maxed out for all allies for 1 turn.
Where to Get
Obtainable from the Pollution Panic sidequest that is given by a Mandrake near Hamamatsucho. Complete the quest to get the Yoma Talisman as a quest reward.

Vile Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Impaler's Glory	Greatly increases the damage of the next attack of self and adds a Pierce effect.
Where to Get
Complete Baphomet's Magic from the East quest. Basphomet is in one of the containers near the Container Yard Leyline Fount.

Deity Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Savage	All charge effects will remain for all allies until the next turn.
Where to Get
Obtained after completing the quest The Bull God’s Lineage near Shinobazu Pond/Umayabashi leyline fount in Taito.

Wargod Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Freikugel EX	Severe Almighty attack based on level to 1 foe.
Where to Get
Obtainable from the No Stone Unturned sidequest that is given by a Neko Shogun north of the Shiba Leyline Fount. Complete the quest to get the Wargod Talisman as a quest reward.

Avatar Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Hit	Accuracy and ailment efficacy of all allies is greatly raised for 1 turn.
Where to Get
Received as a reward from Gustave for finding 45 Miman. Return to Cadaver's Hollow to instantly receive the Avatar Talisman.

Holy Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Hit	Accuracy and ailment efficacy of all allies is greatly raised for 1 turn.
Where to Get
Received as a reward from Gustave for finding 55 Miman. Return to Cadaver's Hollow to instantly receive the Holy Talisman.

Genma Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Luck	EXP and Macca earned greatly increased if the battle ends on this turn.
Where to Get
Received as a reward from Gustave for finding 100 Miman. Return to Cadaver's Hollow to instantly receive the Genma Talisman.

Element Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Luck	EXP and Macca earned greatly increased if the battle ends on this turn.
Where to Get
The Element Talisman is the reward you get from Gustave after collecting 10 Miman. Once you've found 10 Miman, head back to Cadaver's Hollow

Fairy Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Fairy Banquet	Raises all stats of all allies to the max for 3 turns.
Where to Get
The Fairy Talisman is a reward you can get from completing the The Root of the Problem sidequest, given by Silky in Fairy Village.

Beast Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Adversity	The lower the HP of all allies, the more damage and HP recovered through skills for 1 turn.
Where to Get
The Beast Talisman is a reward you can get from completing the A Wish for a Fish sidequest, given by a Nekomata in Container Yard.

Jirae Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Sincerity	Forgives up to 2 failures in a demon conversation for 1 turn.
Where to Get
Given as a reward for completing the Chakra Drop Chomp sidequest. This sidequest can be found next to the Tennozu Leyline Fount in Shinagawa.

Fiend Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Freikugel EX	Severe Almighty attack based on level to 1 foe.
Where to Get
The Fiend Talisman is the reward you get from Gustave after collecting 70 Miman. Once you've found 70 Miman, head back to Cadaver's Hollow.

Jaki Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Rasetsu Feast	Lower all stats to the minimum for all foes for 3 turns
Where to Get
Given by a Rakshasa standing on the Tokyo Diet Building's roofs. To get up there, you must climb sand dunes to the right of the Diet entrance, and hop onto the roof, then make your way to the left, where the Rakshasa is.

Wilder Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Twilight Wave	Heavy Physical attack to all foes. Chance of inflicting Sleep.
Where to Get
Obtained from a Nue in an enclosed room in Container Yard. You need to get in from a hole in the roof.

Fury Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Expand:Piercing Aura	Increases the damage of all following attacks of all allies and adds piercing effect.
Where to Get
Obtained from defeating Zaou-Gongen as part of the The Destined Leader sidequest.

Lady Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Waters of Youth	Full HP/MP recovery to self.
Where to Get
The Lady Talisman is obtained from the sidequest The Falcon's Head, given by an Isis in Fairy Village.

Kishin Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Pierce	All attacks from all allies will pierce for 1 turn.
Where to Get
The Kishin Talisman is the reward you get from Gustave after collecting 90 Miman. Once you've found 90 Miman, head back to Cadaver's Hollow.

Kunitsu Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Dekajaon	Negates all buff effects on all foes.
Where to Get
The Kunitsu Talisman is obtained from Okuninushi as a reward for completing the Clash with the Kunitsukami sidequest.

Femme Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Free	All skills of all allies will cost 1 MP for 1 turn.
Where to Get
Obtainable from the The Demon of the Spring sidequest given by a Mermaid. Complete the quest to receive the Femme Talisman as a quest reward.

Brute Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Expand Critical Aura	Next Strength-based attack from all allies will be 100% accurate and guarantees Critical
Where to Get
Obtainable from the Talisman Hunt sidequest from a Shiki-Ouji. Complete the quest to receive the Brute Talisman as a quest reward

Fallen Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Doubler	Buffs and debuffs are twice as effective for all allies for 1 turn.
Where to Get
Obtainable from the To Cure a Curse sidequest given by an Andras. Complete the quest to receive the Fallen Talisman as a quest reward.

Night Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Soul Drain	Severe level-based almighty attack to 1 foe.
Where to Get
Obtained from Khumbanda's Bottle sidequest, which is given by a Succubus beside the Konan 2nd Block Leyline Fount.

Snake Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Dance	All multi-hit moves of all allies will deal the max amount of hits for 1 turn.
Where to Get
Obtained by talking to a Yurlungur under a bridge in between Ginza and Awajicho. You will need to come from Awajicho and head southwest to get to where the Yurlungur is.

Drake Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Big Bang	Severe Almighty attack based on level to all foes.
Where to Get
Obtainable from the The Ultimate Omelette sidequest from an Aitvaras on a highway near the Kamiyacho Leyline Fount. Complete the quest to receive the Drake Talisman as a quest reward

Foul Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Potential	All potentials are maxed out for all allies for 1 turn.
Where to Get
Head southeast of the Hamamatsucho Fount and talk to a Slime that is located at the bottom of a dilapidated building.

Herald Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Shield of God	Greatly decreases damage to all allies until the next turn.
Where to Get
Obtained after completing the quest The Holy Ring at the center of Asakusa.

Dragon Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Dance	All multi-hit moves of all allies will deal the max amount of hits for 1 turn.
Where to Get
Obtained after completing the quest The Gold Dragon’s Arrival near the Onarimon leyline fount in Minato.

Tyrant Talisman

Magatsuhi Skill	Skill Description
Omagatoki: Charge	All skills of all allies will cost twice the MP but deal double the damage for 1 turn.
Where to Get
Obtained after completing the quest The Winged Sun at the highway along Ueno in Taito.

Talismans are Key Items that grant your party members unique Magatsuhi skills. These Magatsuhi skills can be used when the Magatsuhi gauge is full.

Talismans are rare items that give your demons extra utility in battle.
