You are only hurting yourself by using Mothman to deal damage. Use Ame-no-uzume instead she can actually do damage unlike Mothman.
Strat on hard. If you picked up phys dampeners on the way to this boss you should have 3 in stock. Pop a phys dampener each turn at the start to effectively neuter CUMHAILL. His 4th turn will be basic attacks and the fifth turn will be prepping a maragion that you can fire dampen. Just pop fire dampeners when needed as the rest of the fight should be a cheese. You don't need to do buffing / debuffing aside from attack up / defense down as extras to make the fight go faster. Get 8 rounds per turn
