Use Aerith to Cast Blizzard Twice

Exploiting Quetzalcoatl's weakness, Ice, will pressure it. Use Aerith to do this. To make it more effective, have her use Arcane Ward first, which can be unlocked permanently after mastering it from Guard Stick. You can cast Blizzard twice within this ward, so make sure to prioritize this move!

Use Cloud and Tifa to Quickly Stagger Quetzalcoatl

Once Quetzalcoatl is Pressured, have Cloud or Tifa use their abilities to quickly fill the Stagger Bar. Moves like Cloud's Focused Thrust and Tifa's Focused Strike will do the trick here. Once it's staggered, unleash all available damaging abilities until Quetzalcoatl is taken down.

Use Aerial and Magic Attacks When Enemies Fly

When Quetzalcoatl starts flying, have Aerith cast Radiant Ward to increase her basic attack effectiveness. You can also have Cloud or Tifa perform aerial attacks to deal damage while this creature is in the air.

One of the prerequisites for unlocking Biological Intel: Blinded by Light is to defeat the Classified Foe, Quetzalcoatl. To unlock this enemy, you need to complete four of the six Expedition Intels from the Grasslands Region.

Assess 16/16 Enemies in the Grasslands Region

Another requirement to unlock this combat simulator is to assess 16 enemies in the Grasslands Region.

To track which enemies you've already scanned, go to Enemy Intel and locate each fiend located in the Grasslands Region. Then, check if there's a magnifying glass beside their names. The ones already assessed will be marked with this icon.
