Fargus Infernal Guide and Recommended Team (Grand Hero Battle)

This is a guide to clearing the Infernal and Lunatic maps for Fargus: Badon Buccaneer in Fire Emblem Heroes (FEH). To see strategy for defeating Fargus, enemy information, as well as the best units and party to use, read on!

Fargus Strategy

Use Player Phase Strategies

This map has no refresher enemies and all the enemies are grouped up together and within striking distance on turn one, making this a great map for a Hit-and-Run strategy.

A ranged cavalry unit can reach and attack Fargus on turn one, potentially defeating him right away. After defeating Fargus, use refresher assists and movement assists like Reposition or Draw Back to pull your units to safety, away from the danger area.

The enemies will then approach you, but are unable to reach any of your units. You can then use the next few turns to pick them off at your leisure.

Alternatively, you can use a ranged cavalry unit and a refresher unit with three movement such as Hatari Azura, Legendary Ninian, or by equipping the Odd Tempest 3 Sacred Seal to defeat both the Axe Fighter and the Lance Cavalier at the bottom of the map.

When the enemies approach you during enemy phase, they will also be unable to reach any of your units, allowing you to clean up afterwards.

Tank Strategies are also viable

Tank strategies are also viable on this map with the lack of nuking power on the enemy team.

Using this strategy, ensure that your tank unit(s) can sustain through multiple engagements with skills that recover HP, as Fargus can provide the Orders warping bonus to his allies using Corsair Cleaver.

You can either bait Fargus and the Red Mage first by parking your tank unit on top of the tree in the middle, or you can bait the Axe Fighter and the Lance Cavalier from the bottom first. Either way, the group of enemies that you did not bait will be unable to reach your units, allowing you to pick and choose the engagements you want to happen.

You can then use the next turn to reposition your units and heal your tanks from the damage taken during the previous turn.

Legendary Veronica	Red Tome Cavalry Enclosing Dark has great offensive power, prevents foe's counterattacks, and can follow-up before a foe's first attack. Enclosure has a short cooldown and disables non-Special damage reduction.
Brave Gullveig	Blue Tome Flying The Cycle's Turn grants a Canto effect, allowing Gullveig to reposition herself after her action. Gold Unwinding grants another action post-combat. Flared Sparrow creates Divine Veins that hinder movement for enemy ranged units and deal pre-combat damage to foes when they enter combat.
Reginn	Sword Cavalry Pre-charged Seiðr Shell allows her to deal high damage on her first attack. Has Canto from turn 1-4 due to her weapon, letting her hit and run.
Brave Chrom	Lance Cavalry Accelerated Special trigger and cooldown lets him charge up his Special quickly. A Fate Changed! allows a Reposition effect while retaining his action.
Ótr	Axe Cavalry Pre-charged Brutal Shell allows him to deal high damage on his first attack. Has Canto from turn 1-4 due to his weapon, letting him hit and run.
Ninja Sanaki	Red Tome Cavalry Great nuking power with Radiant Scrolls. Flared Mirror creates Divine Veins that hinder movement for enemy ranged units and deal pre-combat damage to foes when they enter combat. Duo Skill grants another action post-combat.

Brave Edelgard	Axe Armored High mobility for an armored unit. Incredibly sturdy with refined Flower Hauteclere and Black Eagle Rule granting multiple defensive effects.
Brave Corrin (F)	Colorless Breath Armored Has five sources of damage reduction on her base kit. 【Divine Vein (Stone)】 creates defensive terrain for your units. A/S Far Save 3 protects allies from ranged attacks.

Halloween Flayn	Staff Cavalry Kitty-Cat Parasol grants Special cooldown charges, 30% damage reduction, and "neutralizes foe's bonuses to Atk" to nearby allies and can double as an offensive unit with high Atk and a guaranteed follow-up attack.

Brave Lucina	Lance Infantry Grants bonus stats and Special acceleration to nearby allies during combat.
Corrin (M)	Sword Infantry A budget support that grants bonus stats to his Ally Support during combat.
Summer Hilda	Staff Flying Grants Atk+6 and Special acceleration to nearby allies during combat.
Seiðr	Green Tome Cavalry Future-Focused can forcefully end a foe's turn, allowing you to play around the strongest foe.
