What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Gentle Fell Egg grants visible HP/Atk/Res, 80% AoE damage reduction to Veyle and her allies, true damage, a guaranteed follow-up attack, and a brave effect. ・Fell Majesty grants true damage reduction, Special charges per attack to Veyle and her allies and inflicts Scowl effects onto foes. |
Might: 14 Range: 2 Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Grants HP+5, Atk/Res+6. At start of player phase or enemy phase, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants "reduces damage from area-of-effect Specials by 80% (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials)," 【Resonance: Blades】, and【Resonance: Shields】 to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Res = 20% of unit's Res at start of combat, deals damage = 20% of unit's Res (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and unit makes a guaranteed follow-up attack during combat, and also, if unit's Res ≥ foe's Res+10, unit attacks twice during combat. |
Cooldown Count = 3 Boosts damage dealt by 50% of unit’s Res. |
Grants Atk/Res+8. Inflicts Def-8. At start of player phase or enemy phase, neutralizes 【Panic】 and any penalties to unit's Atk/Res that take effect on unit at this time. |
Enables 【Canto (Rem.; Min 1)】. Deals damage to unit as combat begins = 20% of X (X = unit's max HP before entering battle - 20; "max HP before entering battle" means unit's max HP excluding HP increases from Legendary Effects, Mythic Effects, Bonus Heroes, etc.; activates only when unit can attack in combat; effects that reduce damage "during combat" do not apply; will not reduce unit's HP below 1). Inflicts Atk/Res-4 on foe, unit deals damage = unit's HP at start of combat - current HP, × 2 (max 12, min 6; excluding area-of-effect Specials) and reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by percentage = unit's HP at start of combat - current HP, × 10 during combat (max 60%, min 30%; excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
Disables foe's "calculate damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res" effects (including area-of-effect Specials). If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, inflicts Atk/Res-5 on foe, reduces damage from foe's first attack by 7 ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes), and grants Special cooldown charge +1 to unit per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack), and also, if unit's Res ≥ foe's Res+5 and foe's attack can trigger foe's Special, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe's first attack, and also, if foe's Range = 2, inflicts additional Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe's first follow-up attack (cannot exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown). For allies within 2 spaces of unit, grants Atk/Def/Res+5 and reduces damage from foe's first attack by 7 during their combat ("first attack" normally means only the first strike; for effects that grant "unit attacks twice," it means the first and second strikes). For allies within 2 spaces of unit, if this unit's Res ≥ ally's foe's Res+5 at start of combat, and if foe's attack can trigger foe's Special, inflicts Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe's first attack, and also, if foe's Range = 2, inflicts additional Special cooldown count+1 on foe before foe's first follow-up attack (cannot exceed the foe's maximum Special cooldown). |

See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Spring Veyle are +Atk and -Def. Veyle's high base 48 Atk is increased to base 52 with a superboon, and is devastating especially when Gentle Fell Egg triggers its brave attack upon winning a Res check, allowing the extra Atk to be applied twice. With a brave effect, bonus stats, and bonus true damage, Veyle is one of the best nukers in the game capable of deleting most enemies in one round.
Spring Veyle's Def is a clear dump stat at only base 16, and no amount of investment will protect her against physical attackers.
We recommend a +Atk IV when merging Spring Veyle up to +10 to maximize her damage output against the sturdiest tanks in the game.

Spring Veyle's base kit is already good enough to function as a nuker unit with a high Res stat. She makes good use of Emblem Lyn ring with her brave attacks and true damage.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Spring Veyle is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Spring Veyle's Gentle Fell Egg gives a visible HP+5, Atk/Res+6 bonus right off the bat, providing extra stats at no cost.
At the start of each turn, Gentle Fell Egg also grants 80% damage reduction against area-of-effect attacks to Veyle and her nearby allies and grants them 【Resonance: Blades】 and 【Resonance: Shields】 too. The 80% area-of-effect damage reduction is meant to be a counter to Emblem Sigurd's instant Override, which runs rampant in the metagame.
In combat, Gentle Fell Egg grants Veyle bonus Atk/Res equal to 20% of her Res, true damage equal to 20% of her Res, a guaranteed follow-up attack, and a brave effect on player phase if Veyle's Res ≥ her foe's Res +10.
Gentle Fell Egg is a great tankbusting weapon and is perfect for an offensive-oriented unit like Veyle.
Spring Veyle's exclusive C skill Fell Majesty disables adaptive damage, inflicts Atk/Res-5 onto Veyle's foe, and grants Veyle the following effects:
For allies within 2 spaces of Veyle, Fell Majesty grants them Atk/Def/Res+5 and also grants the following effects:
Fell Majesty is a versatile skill that applies multiple effects that aid Veyle and her allies, making it a must-use skill on her kit.
Spring Veyle's base 16 def leaves her vulnerable to physical attackers.
Keep her away from these foes to ensure her survival!
Spring Veyle takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
