This map has no reinforcements, no refresher enemies, and multiple foes are close to each other. This is a great map for player phase strategies like Galeforce or Hit and Run.
The map is a wide open area with no movement impediments, giving your units free reign to move around. Additionally, the enemies will not move/act until you step into their threat range, allowing you to position your units as necessary.
Besides Fallen Linus himself, all of the enemies are quite easy to defeat, making a player phase strategy easy to implement.
The only unit that requires some planning is the Sword Fighter, as he has Atk/Def Bulwark 3 to prevent your units from advancing past him. Simply defeat him first in order to remove this restriction.
With the lack of powerful enemies and refresher units on this map, a tanking strategy is a great method to achieve victory. Simply leave your tank units in range of one group of enemies while avoiding the other side in order to minimize your damage taken.
Be aware that the Red Mage has Sudden Panic 3, which inflicts the Panic status onto your units if they are adjacent to any other allies and have less HP than the Red Mage.
Ensure that none of your units are adjacent to each other in order to avoid receiving penalties. If using Savior skills, keep each unit 2 spaces away from each other to trigger Savior and avoid Asclepius's effects.
Additionally, the Blue Thief has Lethality and he can heavily dent or outright defeat your tank unit if this Special triggers. Play around the cooldown and defeat this foe before he triggers his Special.
Fallen Linus himself is a deceptively bulky unit with his high stats and Dead-Fang Axe. We recommend using a Red tank unit with high Def against him if implementing a tanking strategy.
Unit Name | |
---|---|
Summer Edelgard | Sword Armored Regal Sunshade attacks twice and can easily defeat most enemies in one combat. Raging Storm can grant an extra action post-combat. |
Legendary Veronica | Red Tome Cavalry Enclosing Dark has great offensive power, prevents foe's counterattacks, and can follow-up before a foe's first attack. Enclosure has a short cooldown and disables non-Special damage reduction. |
Reginn | Sword Cavalry Pre-charged Seiðr Shell allows her to deal high damage on her first attack. Has Canto from turn 1-4 due to her weapon, letting her hit and run. |
Brave Chrom | Lance Cavalry Accelerated Special trigger and cooldown lets him charge up his Special quickly. A Fate Changed! allows a Reposition effect while retaining his action. |
Ótr | Axe Cavalry Pre-charged Brutal Shell allows him to deal high damage on his first attack. Has Canto from turn 1-4 due to his weapon, letting him hit and run. |
Ninja Laegjarn | Blue Bow Flying Great nuking power with Flamefrost Bow. Duo Skill grants another action post-combat. |
Ninja Corrin (F) | Green Tome Cavalry Great nuking power with Ninjutsu Scrolls. S/R Far Trace 3 allows retreat after combat. Duo Skill grants another action post-combat. |
Ninja Lyn | Colorless Dagger Flying Great nuking power with Tailwind Shuriken. Duo Skill grants another action post-combat. |
Legendary Leif | Colorless Bow Cavalry Njörun's Zeal II grants another action post-combat. |
