Arion Strategy

Use Player Phase Strategies

This map has no refresher enemies and you can reach some enemies right on the first turn, making this a perfect map for a Hit and Run strategy.

Using a cavalry ranged unit, defeat the Lance Dragon on the first turn and then retreat to safety using either movement skills like Reposition or by refreshing the initiator's turn.

The other enemies will approach and line themselves up to be cleaned up by your units on the following turns. Just be careful not to position your units in range of the enemy fliers after Arion's Heired Gungnir provides the 【Charge】 status to his allies!

Tank Strategies are also viable

Tank strategies are also viable on this map with only a few generic enemies able to reach you on the first turn.

Park your tank unit on the lowest danger area tile on the right and surround him/her with support units. The enemies will approach and engage your tank unit, freeing up the rest of the map for clean up.

The advantage of this strategy is that Arion cannot reach your units right away. He needs a turn or two before he is able to attack your units.

Summer Edelgard	Sword Armored Regal Sunshade attacks twice and can easily defeat most enemies in one combat. Raging Storm can grant an extra action post-combat.
Legendary Veronica	Red Tome Cavalry Enclosing Dark has great offensive power, prevents foe's counterattacks, and can follow-up before a foe's first attack. Enclosure has a short cooldown and disables non-Special damage reduction.
Reginn	Sword Cavalry Pre-charged Seiðr Shell allows her to deal high damage on her first attack. Has Canto from turn 1-4 due to her weapon, letting her hit and run.
Brave Chrom	Lance Cavalry Accelerated Special trigger and cooldown lets him charge up his Special quickly. A Fate Changed! allows a Reposition effect while retaining his action.
Ótr	Axe Cavalry Pre-charged Brutal Shell allows him to deal high damage on his first attack. Has Canto from turn 1-4 due to his weapon, letting him hit and run.
Ninja Laegjarn	Blue Bow Flying Great nuking power with Flamefrost Bow. Duo Skill grants another action post-combat.
Ninja Corrin (F)	Green Tome Cavalry Great nuking power with Ninjutsu Scrolls. S/R Far Trace 3 allows retreat after combat. Duo Skill grants another action post-combat.
Ninja Lyn	Colorless Dagger Flying Great nuking power with Tailwind Shuriken. Duo Skill grants another action post-combat.
Legendary Leif	Colorless Bow Cavalry Njörun's Zeal II grants another action post-combat.

Brave Edelgard	Axe Armored High mobility for an armored unit. Incredibly sturdy with refined Flower Hauteclere and Black Eagle Rule granting multiple defensive effects.
Brave Corrin (F)	Colorless Breath Armored Has five sources of damage reduction on her base kit. 【Divine Vein (Stone)】 creates defensive terrain for your units. A/S Far Save 3 protects allies from ranged attacks.
