Navarre: Scarlet Sword Strategy

Be Careful of the Slaying Weapons!

Navarre and the Axe Fighter are both carrying slaying weapons, which both pack a punch when they attack.

Use a unit that can tank attacks from one or both of them, or defeat them with a unit using either Brave Lance+ or Brave Sword+ to take them out quickly.

Prevent Navarre from Doing Follow-up Attacks

Navarre possesses Desperation 3, which will be active when his HP is ≤ 75%.

This means that if he initiates, he will be able to make a follow-up attack before you can counter.

To prevent Navarre from doing this, you will either have to attack him on your turn or use a unit with Wary Fighter 3.

Dragon-Effective Weapons are Recommended for the Manakete

The blue manakete on the map has high stats all around, which may prove troublesome to deal with.

Defeat it with dragon-effective weapons such as Divine Naga, Ífingr, or Ninis's Ice Lance.

Use Flying Units

The map has a lot of forests, which hinders the movement of your units if they are cavalry or infantry.

They don't impede flying units, however, so it's recommended that you use them to clear the map because of their free range of movement.

This is also because none of the enemy units are packing bows that could potentially take your own units down.
