Cervantes Infernal Guide and Recommended Team (Grand Hero Battle)

Cervantes Strategy

Bring a Green Mage with Null Follow-Up

Cervantes is incredibly min-maxed on his HP, Atk, and Def stats, and with the enemy unit stat inflation, he will be a huge pain to take down. He also has A/D Near Save 3 to protect his allies from melee attacks.

The best way to quickly eliminate him is by bringing a fast Green mage with Null Follow-Up. The B skill, the Sacred Seal, or having the neutralizes effects that deny follow-up attacks tied to the weapon all work. This will negate Cervantes' Wary Fighter 3 and attack him on his weak Res stat with color advantage.

Alternatively, use Player Phase Strategies

This map has no reinforcements, no refresher enemies, and all of the foes are close to each other. This is a great map for player phase strategies like Galeforce or Hit and Run.

Using units that can grant themselves additional actions, you can pick off an enemy and then retreat to safety.

Ninja Corrin (F) is perfect for this map, as she can attack twice with her Duo Skill button and is the Green mage unit needed to defeat Cervantes in one round.

Be aware that the Axe Fighter has Canto Control 3, which can shut down your Canto effects and leave your units stranded right in front of the enemy team.

You can also use the left side pillar to leave the Axe Fighter for last and keep your units out of range.

Tank Strategies are also viable

You can also use a tanking strategy to withstand the enemy attacks and defeat them on enemy phase. Using this strategy will render some enemy skills like Cervantes' A/D Near Save 3 and the Axe Fighter's Canto Control 3 useless.

None of the enemies here hit hard, but there are a couple of things to note in order to make your clear successful:

• The Troubadour has Flash+ which can deny your team's counterattacks.
• Cervantes has Ignis which will heavily nuke one of your units if left unchecked.

Legendary Byleth (M)	Green Tome Infantry Null Follow-Up is built into Professorial Text. Sublime Heaven's low cooldown allows him to nuke down an enemy often.
Asbel	Green Tome Infantry Has Null Follow-Up 3 in his base kit.
Nino	Green Tome Infantry A good budget option that can equip the Null Follow-Up 3 Sacred Seal.

Hit and Run Units

Summer Edelgard	Sword Armored Regal Sunshade attacks twice and can easily defeat most enemies in one combat. Raging Storm can grant an extra action post-combat.
Reginn	Sword Cavalry Pre-charged Seiðr Shell allows her to deal high damage on her first attack. Has Canto from turn 1-4 due to her weapon, letting her hit and run.
Brave Eirika	Lance Cavalry Great tankbuster unit with Canto. Can be obtained for free with CYL5 free summon.
Brave Chrom	Lance Cavalry Accelerated Special trigger and cooldown lets him charge up his Special quickly. A Fate Changed! allows a Reposition effect while retaining his action.
Ótr	Axe Cavalry Pre-charged Brutal Shell allows him to deal high damage on his first attack. Has Canto from turn 1-4 due to his weapon, letting him hit and run.
Ninja Corrin (F)	Green Tome Cavalry Great nuking power with Ninjutsu Scrolls. S/R Far Trace 3 allows retreat after combat. Duo Skill grants another action post-combat.
Ninja Lyn	Colorless Dagger Flying Great nuking power with Tailwind Shuriken. Duo Skill grants another action post-combat.
Legendary Leif	Colorless Bow Cavalry Njörun's Zeal grants another action post-combat.

Brave Hector	Lance Armored Can retaliate at any distance. Weapon refine is loaded with effects that vastly improve his offense and defense. Can neutralize penalties inflicted on him.
Ascended Idunn	Blue Breath Armored Guaranteed follow-up attack. Weapon is comparable to Brave Hector's refined Maltet. Can neutralize penalties inflicted on her.
Ascended Fjorm	Axe Armored Can retaliate at any distance. Nifl's Bite negates effects that prevent counterattacks such as Flash+ and various other sweep effects. Can neutralize penalties inflicted on her.
Arden	Sword Armored A great budget option for this map. Arden's Blade attacks twice and can easily defeat most enemies in one combat.
