What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Demote unit with high Atk/Spd on par with modern metagame foes. ・Spring-Air Axe+ grants up to +20 bonus true damage. |
Might: 14 Range: 1 Inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 on foes within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit and neutralizes effects that grant "Special cooldown charge +X" to those foes during their combat. At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, unit deals +X × 5 damage during combat (max 20; X = number of foes within 3 spaces of target, including target; excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
Cooldown Count = 3 Treats foe's Def/Res as if reduced by 50% during combat. |
Grants Atk/Spd +5. Inflicts Def/Res -5. |
If unit's Spd > foe's Spd, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials (excluding Røkkr area-of-effect Specials) by percentage = difference between stats x 4 (max 40%). If unit's HP ≤ 75% and unit's attack triggers Special, deals +5 damage when Special triggers. |

◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Tempest Trials, Spring Lon'qu will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Spring Lon'qu are +Spd and -Res. Lon'qu's base 48 Spd is raised to base 52 with a superboon, and due to his lack of an exclusive skill of any kind, he will be reliant on his stats to compete with modern metagame units. Lon'qu will need his Spd as high as possible to be on par with these units.
Lon'qu's Res is his least important stat and can be safely taken as a bane.
We recommend +Spd when merging Spring Lon'qu up to +10 to ensure he keeps up with fast metagame units.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Spring Lon'qu is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Spring Lon'qu's inheritable Spring-Air Axe+ inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-5 on foes within 3 rows and 3 columns and has a defensive Tempo effect that prevents bonus Special charges per attack.
In combat, Spring-Air Axe+ grants bonus damage to Spring Lon'qu equal to 5x the number of foes within 3 spaces of the target foe, up to +20. This effect is what separates Spring-Air Axe+ apart from all the other inheritable Axes, as +20 bonus damage is significant in today's metagame.
Spring Lon'qu is yet another Axe Infantry Heroic Grail unit without an exclusive skill. We've had so many of these heroes like Ninja Hana, Ninja Shamir, Valentine's Effie, and the like. Spring Lon'qu doesn't warrant investment unless you have none of these other units built up, and even then, he won't be of much help unless you give him a ton of investment.
Spring Lon'qu suffers from not having any unique skills to call his/her own, making him unable to stand out amongst other units.
Axe Infantry units are quite abundant in the game, and lacking an exclusive weapon makes Spring Lon'qu replaceable by better units.
Should You Unlock Potential for this Hero? |

Spring Lon'qu as Spring-Air Axe+, Life and Death 3, and Spurn 3 as inheritable options.
He is better off being merged as none of these skills will be relevant. Alternatively, use him as bridge fodder for tier 4 skills.

It's clear this isn't a 5 star rating system, since if anything deserves a 1 star for inheritance, it's this one, lol. It's the same as the lowest rating of heroes being a 7, on a 1-10 scale. The system should change, so it's a 3 star inheritance rating, 1,,2 or 3 stars, & similar for overall ratings, except include half stars. This would make use of the entire scale.
