Hans Strategy

Use Player Phase Strategies

This map has no reinforcements, no refresher enemies, and all of the foes are close to each other. This is a great map for player phase strategies like Galeforce or Hit and Run.

Using units that can grant themselves additional actions, you can pick off an enemy and then retreat to safety.

Ninja duo units like Ninja Corrin (F) and Ninja Laegjarn are perfect for this map, as they can defeat an enemy and use their Duo Skill to either retreat or attack again. Ninja Corrin (F) gets a special mention for dealing magic damage, which attacks Hans' weaker Res stat.

If using Galeforce, defeat the Troubadour as soon as possible. Her Respite+ slows down Special cooldown charges on your attacks, rendering you unable to trigger Galeforce.

Tank Strategies are also viable

With the lack of powerful enemies (except for Hans himself) and refresher units on this map, a tanking strategy is a great strategy to achieve victory.

Bait out the enemy team on the right side of the bridge to avoid engagements from the left side of the map. Baiting on the left side will cause Hans, the Red Tome Flier, and the Lance Dragon to attack, and they hit harder than any of the right side enemies.

On the next turn, use a magic attacker to defeat Hans, and then clean up the rest of the enemies.

If you are using a Sword tank unit to bait Hans, ensure you defeat the Lance Dragon first, as they have both Swordbreaker 3 and Red Feud 3 to skew combat against your red units.

Legendary Veronica	Red Tome Cavalry Enclosing Dark has great offensive power, prevents foe's counterattacks, and can follow-up before a foe's first attack. Enclosure has a short cooldown and disables non-Special damage reduction.
Reginn	Sword Cavalry Pre-charged Seiðr Shell allows her to deal high damage on her first attack. Has Canto from turn 1-4 due to her weapon, letting her hit and run.
Brave Chrom	Lance Cavalry Accelerated Special trigger and cooldown lets him charge up his Special quickly. A Fate Changed! allows a Reposition effect while retaining his action.
Ótr	Axe Cavalry Pre-charged Brutal Shell allows him to deal high damage on his first attack. Has Canto from turn 1-4 due to his weapon, letting him hit and run.
Ninja Laegjarn	Blue Bow Flying Great nuking power with Flamefrost Bow. Duo Skill grants another action post-combat.
Ninja Corrin (F)	Green Tome Cavalry Great nuking power with Ninjutsu Scrolls. S/R Far Trace 3 allows retreat after combat. Duo Skill grants another action post-combat.
Ninja Lyn	Colorless Dagger Flying Great nuking power with Tailwind Shuriken. Duo Skill grants another action post-combat.

Brave Hector	Lance Armored Can retaliate at any distance. Weapon refine is loaded with effects that vastly improve his offense and defense. Can neutralize penalties inflicted on him.
Ascended Idunn	Blue Breath Armored Guaranteed follow-up attack. Weapon is comparable to Brave Hector's refined Maltet. Can neutralize penalties inflicted on her.
Ascended Fjorm	Axe Armored Can retaliate at any distance. Nifl's Bite negates effects that prevent counterattacks such as Flash+ and various other sweep effects. Can neutralize penalties inflicted on her.
Arden	Sword Armored A great budget option for this map. Arden's Blade attacks twice and can easily defeat most enemies in one combat.

Legendary Azura	Blue Tome Flying Prayer Wheel and Gray Waves II combine to grant an ally stat and mobility bonuses.
Hatari Azura	Green Tome Cavalry Dancing Flames and Gray Waves combine to grant an ally stat and mobility bonuses. S/R Far Trace 3 allows retreat after combat or using Gray Waves.
