This map has no refresher units and the enemies are grouped up in one area, making it a perfect map for both Hit and Run and/or Galeforce strategies.
The enemies will not advance on the first turn, giving you time to set up your units until you're ready to begin.
To start, prepare a ranged unit with 3 movement to defeat the Lance Fighter on the left side, and then use movement assists to retreat your unit to safety. Canto is not as good in this scenario as the Red Thief has Canto Control 3 to prevent an easy escape. Ensure that you are at least 6 spaces away from Griss to prevent him from warping to your units and attacking.
Once the enemies move closer, take them out one at a time, retreating back to safety using movement assists and refresher units after every 1-2 units defeated, while ensuring you are out of range of Griss's warping effect.
Once Griss gets into range, prioritize knocking him out to make positioning easier as you won't have to worry about his extended threat range anymore.
Tank strategies are also viable on this map as there are no enemy units that are too threatening except for Griss himself.
However take note that Griss will warp to attack a unit who is within 5 spaces of him, leaving both sides vulnerable to an attack from a minimum of three enemy units.
There are pros and cons to baiting on the left and right sides. For the left side, the Lance Fighter has Fortifications which will set up Stone terrain and make it more difficult for your units to knock out Griss and the Red Thief. For the right side, a Troubadour will also attack your tank unit, and she has Flash+ to prevent your unit from making counterattacks.
Unless you are using a tank unit that can neutralize Flash effects such as Ice Tribe Fjorm or a unit with Null C-Disrupt Echo, we recommend baiting from the left side, as the Flash status is more troublesome than the Stone terrain from Fortifications.
Once you have taken out one side of the enemy team, heal up and wait for the other side to approach. Allow them to initiate onto your tanks and knock them out on enemy phase.
