When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Nomah are +Res and -Spd. Boosting Nomah's Res superboon from base 49 to 53 makes him one of the best magic tanks in the game, giving him a clear purpose on most teams.
Nomah's Spd is middling at base 28, and is not high enough where investment will help him outspeed all other mid Spd foes. Taking it as a bane will still let him outspeed the slower end of the Spd tiers such as armored units, and is a good bane to take to protect Nomah's physical bulk as well.
We recommend a +Res IV when merging Nomah up to +10 to maximize his magical bulk and his bonus stats from Prior's Tome.

Nomah's combat potential isn't as good as other offensive units due to his base kit being support oriented. We use Crystalline Water and Phantom Res to boost his Res checks for Pulse Up: Ploy and a Discord B skill of your choice.

Nomah is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Nomah's exclusive weapon Prior's Tome allows allies anywhere on the map to warp to any space within 2 spaces of Nomah, as long as Nomah is near a trap in Aether Raids.
Prior's Tome also allows allies within 2 spaces of Nomah to warp to any space within 2 spaces of him, giving Prior's Tome mobility effects even outside Aether Raids.
Prior's Tome grants allies within 2 spaces of Nomah Atk/Res+5, 7 HP post-combat healing, and neutralizes their penalties to Atk/Res.
In combat, Prior's Tome grants Nomah bonus Atk/Res equal to 20% of his Res, a guaranteed follow-up attack, and 7 HP post-combat healing.
Prior's Tome is more of a mobility and support weapon rather than an offensive weapon, but it is great at its role.
Nomah's Prior's Tome does not have built-in true damage or true damage effects, which run rampant in today's metagame.
This renders Nomah as a pure support unit, providing effects to allies and giving them impressive mobility.
