Trust increases your Pals' stats significantly and is vital in scaling into the late game as you fight more vigorous opponents in battle.
The new Pal Trust Mechanic potentially allows common Pals to become viable for endgame content, making weaker Pals stand on common ground with powerful enemies thanks to your bond with them.
Added in Tides of Terraria Update
The Pal Trust Mechanic was introduced in the Tides of Terraria update to allow players to connect more with their Pals.
This new mechanic provides more opportunities for players to be creative with team-building, potentially making Starter Pals from the Plateau of Beginnings competitive in the later stages of Palworld.

Trust Stat Effects
Varies Per Pal
Additional stats gained from trust vary per Pal, as stronger Pals will have relatively lesser gains than other Pals. That said, we recommend you still build trust, as the extra stats benefit every Pal in the game.
Trust Level Details
Level 10 is the Current Max Level
The Pal Trust System is currently capped at level 10. Players can increase their Pal's stats up to this point, so swap out your party if they are already at the maximum trust level!
How to Increase Trust
Place Pals in Your Party
Pal Trust automatically grows with Pals in your party. They don't have to be on-field to receive the passive increases, so you can place weaker Pals in your party while your stronger Pals can attack for you.
Feed Kinship Peach to Your Pals

Kinship Peaches can be given to Pals to gain their trust quickly. Purchase them from Bounty Officers, such as the one in Small Settlement.
