How to Craft Shields

Craft Shields at Workbench

Shields can be easily crafted at your workbenches. Simply walk up to your crafted workbench, gather the required materials, and craft the shield of your choice from the crafting menu.

How to Use Shields

Equip Shields in Inventory

Open your inventory and place your crafted shield into the Shield slot. Once you have your shield equipped, you can rest easy, as your shield will passively protect you from all damage without having to press any button to use it.

Shield Activates Automatically

In Palworld, you do not need to bring up your shield manually. Once you have it equipped, it will passively protect you from damage.

Shield Regenerates Over Time

Shields repair themselves after a few seconds, so you need not worry about your shield's durability. If your shield has been depleted, simply move away from battle and avoid damage for a few seconds to have your shield fully replenished.
