Send Pals out on Pal Expeditions to farm dungeon materials for you while you play in Palworld! Learn how to use the Pal Expedition Station, conduct Pal expeditions, and unlock expedition destinations in this guide.

How to Start Pal Expeditions
Build Pal Expedition Station

The Pal Expedition Station is available to unlock and build at Level 15. Only one Pal Expedition Station is allowed per base. They are quite large structures as well, so make sure you have ample enough space in your bases to house them.
Once you have built the Pal Expedition Station, go up to the mouth of the cavern-looking entrance to open the Expedition menu.
Select Expedition Destination
The destinations for expeditions are listed from lowest to highest difficulty and are unlocked by defeating Tower bosses. Once unlocked, make sure to check the requirements and rewards before selecting a destination!

Assign Pals to Dispatch
You can assign up to 100 Pals per expedition. You can send the Pals from your Palbox, as long as they are not in your party nor working in any of your bases.
Other than the Cave in the Grassland expedition, all other expeditions will require you to send Pals with a specific type. If you are struggling to choose individual Pals, you can try the Auto-Assign option! It will select the appropriate Pals for you, and you could modify the list from there.
Aim for the Recommended Firepower
Each Pal has a value of their Firepower depending on their stats. Depending on your preference, you can either add a few of your very powerful Pals or a whole lot of your wimpy ones, as long as you match or go over the Recommended Firepower for the highest chance you can get at reward quality and quantity. Keep in mind the reward percentage does not go past 100% though.
On the other hand, you can actually start expeditions even if your band of Pals go below the Recommended Firepower. Just do not expect much rewards if you do.
However way you assigned your Pals and Firepower, just select the Start button on the bottom to let your Pals be on their merry way and farm those dungeon materials for you!
How to Increase Pal Firepower
Condense Pals
Condensing Pals are the best way to increase Firepower. Condensing a Pal increases all of its stats, which provides you with a general increase in Firepower.
Condensing a Pal to max rank requires a whopping 117 Pals, but provides you with an extremely strong Pal with an insanely high Firepower!

Level Up Pals
Leveling Up Pals is the easiest way to increase base stats. A Level 1 Pal will have around 200 Firepower, and Leveling it up to max should increase it to around 2500 Firepower on average.
When staying in your base, or out exploring, make sure to bring other Pals to increase their levels for expeditions!
Enhance Pals with Souls
Enhancing Pals using Souls is also a way to increase a Pal's firepower. As you collect more Pal Souls, offer them up at a Statue of Power to increase a Pal's stats.
The stat increase affects a Pal's firepower, so enhancing a Pal can be a quick way to boost Firepower if you do not want to condense Pals instead.
Passive Skills Do Not Affect Firepower
Passive Skills that affect a Pal's stats do not affect Firepower. It is best to save your perfectly bred Pals to be used in the party instead, since these modifiers do not affect expedition runs.
Can You Start Multiple Pal Expeditions?
You Can Start Multiple Expeditions at the Same Time
While you are only allowed to have one Pal Expedition Station per base, you can still have multiple of them across your individual bases, assuming you have more than one base.
You can also send multiple expeditions to a single destination at the same time, although be wary of the availability of your Pals. When they have the dungeon icon on their profile, it means they are already on an ongoing expedition.
How to Lessen Expedition Duration
Additional Firepower Lessens Expedition Duration
Going over the Recommended Firepower actually lessens how long the expedition will take to complete. You can tell when the Duration number has turned yellow. The more Firepower you add, the more the Duration decreases. If you do not have the patience to wait but got all the Pals to spare on an expedition, feel free to load up on that Firepower!
Note: Expedition Duration unfortunately only continues when the player is in the game. Quitting the game or just not being in that save freezes the Duration.
Research Time-Saving Expedition
In the Pal Labor Research Laboratory, you can find the Time-Saving Expedition research nodes under the Lumbering and Mining Research Subjects. Completing all the research on it decreases Expedition Duration by 35%.

Anonymous 10 monthsIt’s not mentioned anywhere on the page but for whoever was looking for info on how to raise your pals firepower you need to condense them. 10 lvl 3-4 condensed pals will do any of the expeditions.
