To encase the enemy in ice, you'll require a Pal equipped with the Cryst Breath Skill.
Your Pal doesn't necessarily need to be an Ice Elemental, as Cryst Breath can be acquired through Skill Fruits or Breeding.

The only way to launch the enemy into the air is by using the Rocket Launcher.
You can use any kind of Rocket Launcher for this glitch as long as it effectively launches the enemy skyward.
To initiate the glitch, patiently await your Pal's execution of Cryst Breath on the enemy. As soon as the enemy becomes frozen in ice, swiftly attack it with your Rocket Launcher before the ice thaws.
This action will cause the enemy to propel itself above the ground due to the force of the Rocket Launcher.
Occasionally, due to some terrain being higher than others, enemies can survive the glitch. In this case, you must repeat the steps until the enemy is dead.
Apparently, the glitch does not work on Tower Bosses.
Performing the glitch on them will not launch them in the air but will only damage them.
Upon further testing, the glitch does not seem to work on Ice Type Pals as they are immune to being frozen and Cryst Breath will only damage them but will not make them frozen in ice.
