Stamina Stat Explained

Palworld - Stamina Explained

Stamina lets you run, dodge, climb, swim, and glide in Palworld. Read on to learn more about the game's stamina mechanics and how to increase your stamina stat!

Stamina Explained

Used Up When Doing Certain Actions

Your stamina is being used up every time your character runs, dodges rolls, jumps, climbs, glides, or swims. The higher your stamina, the longer you'll be able to perform these actions.

If your stamina runs out, you won't be able to do these actions, which can be dangerous if your stamina is depleted while you're gliding high in the air, swimming in the middle of the ocean, or actively dodging a boss' attacks. You need to fully replenish the stamina meter again before you can glide, swim, or dodge again.

Different from a Mount Pal's Stamina

Palworld - Mount Pal Stamina

Do note that a mount Pal's stamina meter is not shared with your stamina. Your ground and flying Pals have their own stamina and will not benefit from your upgraded stamina meter.

How to Increase Stamina

Upgrade Stamina Stat

Palworld - Upgrading Stamina

Every time you level up, you can allocate stat points to your player character's stamina stat to extend your stamina gauge.

Each point will give you 10 stamina points. If you keep upgrading your stamina, you'll be able to sprint, climb, and glide longer!

How to Increase Stamina

Two Stamina Upgrades is One Dodge Roll

If you want to know how much stamina is added every time you upgrade your stamina, you can refer to how many dodge rolls you can do before your stamina gauge is deleted.

Your base stamina is 100 without any upgrades, which lets you dodge roll consecutively for up to five times before you run out of stamina, with each dodge roll consuming 20 stamina.

With this, if you allot two points to upgrade your stamina, you'll be able to perform another dodge roll.

Does Not Affect Other Actions

Unfortunately, there are no other Partner Skills that decreases stamina drain while running, climbing, or swimming.

You can essentially achieve those if you mount a ground Pal to travel on foot faster, a surfing Pal to travel on water quicker, or a flying Pal to easily reach high places.

I think about 20% your stamina a second

I might have missed it, but at which rate does Stamina regenerate? Is it procentage based or is it a flat amount? If the regeneration is flat, I don´t see the need for excessive points in Stamina. Thanks in advance.
