How Do Pals Become Weakened?

Overworked and Needs Neglected

Pals have needs that you'll need to take care of by building relevant structures for them. They need a Feed Box for food, a Hot Spring to keep their SAN in check, and a bed to make sure they can get some rest.

If you aren't able to provide these needs, they may become Weakened as a result which slows down their movement and work speed.

This will be indicated by a purple tag with the word Weakened.

Pal's Path to Essential Structures May Be Blocked

If your pals keep becoming weakened even if you have all of the necessary stations to prevent it, it's possible that their pathing may be blocked, preventing them from reaching essential structures such as their bed or feedbox.

Make sure to space out your workstations so your pals don't get stuck when bumping into each other or other structures.

Pocketpair, the game's developer, has also announced via their roadmap that they plan on improving the AI of the pals in the game.
