Server Data Cannot Be Transferred

Unfortunately, your saved data on an existing world cannot be transferred over to another world. This means that you won't be able to bring along your character's progress, bases, and all Pals that you own to your friend's world if you plan to join them.

You will have to create a brand new character and grind everything again from scratch if you wish to hop onto someone else's server.

Server Migration To Be Added Soon

Pocket Pair has officially confirmed that they are planning to add Server Transfers and Migration sometime in the near future, as previously revealed in their Future Updates Road Map via a twitter post.

As of current writing, they have yet to announce an official date on when they will be integrating this feature in Palworld. Players will have to sit tight and wait for an official statement from the developers regarding the release day of server transfers.

Turning On Multiplayer Mode Keeps Saved Data

If a friend of yours wishes to join your world, but you've already set it up for solo play, you can turn on multiplayer mode by selecting the world in World Select and toggling the Multiplayer feature to On under the Change World Settings tab.

This allows you to continue playing your saved data without having a need to restart all over again just for your buddies to join in.
