Palworld 0.1.5.1 Update New Features

Fixes Game Crashes

Major Fixes
・Fixed various game crashes

Palworld still suffers from random crashes, albeit it does very rarely now. This update further improves on that issue.

Fixed Breeding and Condensation Issues

Balance Adjustments
・Fixed a bug where breeding Pals always had fixed passives ・Fixed an issue where the increase in condensation progress was incorrect when using Pal of rank two or higher as a condensation material (it will increase by the number of Pals used in previous condensation)

A bug was introduced in Patch 0.1.5.0 where Pals will always hatch with their innate Passive Skill regardless of the Passive Skills of their parents. This update fixes this issue.

Improvements to condensing Pals through the Pal Essence Condenser were introduced in the last update. This follow-up patch fixes the unintentional values higher Rank Pals provide when condensed.

Fixed Dungeon Issues

・Fixed an issue where the innermost door would not open after defeating the boss of a random dungeon

This fixes an issue where dungeons cannot be fully completed, as the door leading to the portal and the reward chests never open.

Fixed Pal Renaming not Working

・Fixed an issue where the name of a Pal would not change even after renaming them

This update fixes the issue where Pals cannot be renamed, which was just introduced to the Xbox Game Pass version after the Version 0.1.5.0 update of the game.

Server UI Improvements

Server Issues
・Fixed an issue where it was not possible to search for spaces or Japanese/Chinese characters in the server list ・Fixed so that if the server is no longer registered on the server list, it will be re-registered without needing to restart the server ・Fixed an issue where the settings to enable RCON were not loaded from the configuration file

This update further improves the server list improvements from the last update, including other server improvements.

*We are currently working on an issue where auto-save fails on the Xbox and Xbox Game Pass versions. We expect that this will be resolved in an upcoming update.

Pocket Pair has announced that a fix will be introduced in the next update to address a known issue regarding auto-saving on the Xbox Game Pass version of the game.

The Palworld update version 0.1.5.1 is available for Steam and Xbox Game Pass services. Both services feature automatic and manual downloading of game updates.

Steam Manual Download

When an update is available, Steam will usually schedule the update later. You can bypass this scheduled date by manually downloading the update from the Library Menu. Press the blue Update button to start the update download and installation.

Enable Steam Auto-Update

Enable (or turn off) Palworld's auto-update from its Properties Menu. To do so, right-click Palworld from the Library Menu and click on Properties. Enter the Updates tab and select the setting that suits your preference.

Check Updates on Xbox Game Pass

If the Update button is unavailable for the Palworld page in your library, access the Manage settings from the three-dot menu button. Enter the Files tab and select the Check for Updates button. You will be notified if an update is available and the option to start downloading and installing the update.

Enable Xbox Game Pass Auto-Update

To turn auto-updates for Palworld on or off, go to the Installation Queue menu and select the Install Options button. Select the Enable automatic updates checkbox from there to turn the auto-update feature on or off.
