What to Do in Palworld: All Goals and Objectives

Monitor and achieve in-game goals and objectives in Palworld by completing your Paldeck, building a powerful base, and defeating all leaders. Learn about where to get started such as obtaining pals and base building.

Catch, Rescue, Buy, and Trade Pals

The Paldeck is an overall record of your collected Pals and displays all of their stats like each Pal's elemental type, habitat, and item drops.

There are some straightforward ways in which you can obtain Pals to get them registered on your Paldeck:

• Catch Pals by weakening them and using Pal Spheres.
• Rescue and free captive Pals in Syndicate camps (usually guarded by Syndicate Thugs, Gunners, etc.).
• Buy Pals at a Pal Merchant (one can be found at the Small Settlement) or a Black Marketeer.
• Trade Pals with other players in a Multiplayer server.

When looking for Pals in the overworld, make sure check around also during nighttime, since some new Pals only appear during that part of the day (like Daedream, for example).

Explore Dungeons for Pals

More Pals can be found in Dungeons if they are not easy to find in the over world. Dungeons are time-limited, and you may find them randomly open or closed on different days. When approaching an entrance, it will show a level, indicating its difficulty.

Aside from Pals, Dungeons also offer useful Schematics, Materials. Make sure to make the most of your time exploring them!

Find Rare Pals

Some Pals are rarer than others, and among these are Legendary Pals and Fusion Pals. Fusion Pals in particular may be born out of breeding at a Breeding Farm and hatching Eggs, they or may just appear out in the wild.

Seek out these Pals throughout the map and make sure you have enough Pal Spheres in hand to capture them. Do not forget to weaken them or upgrade your Catching Power at a Statue of Power with Lifmunk Effigies to increase your chances of success.

Defeat Alpha Boss Pals

Alpha Bosses out on the field will have icons. For those in dungeons, you will have to search manually.

If some Rare Pals have not already made it into your Paldeck, look for Alpha Bosses. These Pals are stronger than any other Pal randomly encountered in the wild. Capture them to get all of their stats in your Paldeck.

Defeating an Alpha Boss across the islands will reward you with Ancient Civilization Parts used for crafting Ancient Technology devices in your Technology Tree.

Build a Sustainable Base

Unlock Technology for Base Structures

In order to start building a proper base, you will need to invest points into accessing what can be built first. Each level up your character makes grants Technology Points used to unlock Structures, craftable Items, and even Pal Gear.

The fastest known way to level up is by completing some Pal catching missions, which means capturing the same Pal species about five (5) times for extra XP, and another five to a total of ten (10) times for another large XP gain.

Find Suitable Base Locations

You will first want to find a suitable place to setup your base before do some extensive exploring and combat. The areas just past the Plateau of Beginnings are nice spots to make base (just look for a wide, flat area.)

As as you progress further in the game, you will find better places to farm certain materials such as Ore for making Ingots.

Find the Best Base Pals

Consider looking into what Pals to have in your base by primarily examining their Work Suitabilities and work-related Passive Skills.

It is important that you manage which Pals to have in your active party and at base so that you do not have to spend too much time into thinking about micromanaging Pals while out exploring.

Complete Base Missions

Along with levelling up yourself and your Pals, you will also need to level up your base by setting up structures aligneed with your Base Mission objectives.

Completing each objective will grant an increase to capacity of working pals in your base, alongside the maximum number of bases you can make in the world (starting at Lvl. 10).

Tower Bosses reside in tall structures with a Paldium-colored glow, which are easy to spot from a distance.

After setting a solid base up with a proper team of Pals for working and exploration, it is time to grind and prepare on defeatingTower Bosses in Palworld.

Tower Bosses are human Pal Trainers accompanied by an abnormally strong Pal with a large health pool. Defeating each will reward 5 Ancient Technology Points which are used to craft powerful tools. They can be remateched afterwards to fight for gaining XP.

At present, there are a total of five (5) Tower Bosses that can be fought, each with varying levels. Make use of the Palworld Interactive Map if you need help finding them!

Prepare the best pals and gear, and level up as much as you can before the fight. Do not worry too much if you fall in battle with them, since any dropped items, including Pals, are relocated to the tower entrance upon death.

In preparing your Pals for the greatest challenges the world of Palworld has to offer, your main priority for them should be to:

• Breeding strong Pals for efficiently scouting or inheriting valuable Passive Skills.
• Scouting for and catching Lucky Pals, whenever available.
• Using a Statue of Power to level up Catching Power and use Pal Souls to strengthen your Pals.
