The Statue of Power is a structure that allows you to upgrade your Catch Power and your Pals stats in Palworld. Read on to learn how to access the Statue of Power, what kind of upgrades you can get, and what items you need to get those upgrades.
The Statue of Power is a piece of Ancient Technology that allows the player to sacrifice Effigies and Souls to Enhance the Player's and their Pals' stats.
Best Character Stat Points to Upgrade
In order to Enhance your Player Stats, you will need to sacrifice Lifmunk Effigies found across the wild to the Statue of Power.
Currently, you can only upgrade Capture Power up to Lv. 10, which makes it easier to catch Pals out in the wild.
Capture Rate Upgrade Cost | |
---|---|
Level 1 | 1 Effigy |
Level 2 | 4 Effigies |
Level 3 | 7 Effigies |
Level 4 | 11 Effigies |
Level 5 | 15 Effigies |
Level 6 | 19 Effigies |
Level 7 | 23 Effigies |
Level 8 | 27 Effigies |
Level 9 | 31 Effigies |
Level 10 | 35 Effigies |
Overall, upgrading your Capture Rate to Level 10 requires 173 Effigies. Currently, this is the Maximum Capture Rate, but may change once a future update rolls in!
Collecting Pal Souls lets you upgrade your Pal's stats at the Statue of Power. This can be used to increase their combat stats, like their Max HP, Attack, and Defense, as well as their Work Speed.
If ever you upgraded the wrong stats or wish to upgrade to a different Pal instead, there is also the option to reset the Pal's upgrades. You get back all of the Souls spent on the Pal, but you will have to pay a sum of gold to do so.

Upgrading you Pals' Stats requires a hefty amount of souls. Check out our guide on farming souls here:
If you do not wish to spend the resources to unlock the Statue of Power, there is one available to use for free inside the Desolate Church. This is easily accessed once the Desolate Church's Great Eagle Statue has been unlocked.
Once unlocked, you can simply Fast Travel there to upgrade your Catch Power or your Pals.
The main downside to this method is that you will have to carry around Pal Souls in your inventory every time you use this Statue of Power compared to having one built in your base that can grab Souls directly from your Storage.
Level Unlocked | Technology | Points | Material Requirements |
---|---|---|---|
6 | Statue of Power | 2 |
Stone x20
Paldium Fragment x10
|
Once you're Lv. 6, you will get the option to unlock the Statue of Power in the Technology menu. To unlock it, you will need to spend 2 Technology Points.
Once you've unlocked it, you will be able to build it at any base you choose for 20 Stone and 10 Paldium Fragments.
