Technology Levels 1 - 5

Shoddy Bed	Tech Level: 3 Points: 1 Wood (x20) Fiber (x5) Wool (x1)	• Necessary for passing the night. • Requires Wooden Structure Set (bed needs to be placed within 3 walls + 1 roof) to be used.
Repair Bench	Tech Level: 2 Points: 1 Wood (x10) Stone (x10)	• Highly useful for repairing tools at a lower cost than crafting them.
Straw Pal Bed	Tech Level: 3 Points: 2 Wood (x10) Fiber (x5)	• Needed for preventing stress in Pals by allowing them to sleep there at night. • Make one Straw Pal Bed for each one working Pal.
Campfire	Tech Level: 2 Points: 1 Wood (x10)	Accepted Work Suitability: Kindling • Needed for cooking food. Cooked Food fills more of the hunger bar and has a longer expiration timer.
Wooden Structure Set	Tech Level: 2 Points: 2 Wood (x2)	• Necessary for using the Shoddy Bed (bed needs to be placed within 3 walls + 1 roof). • Can be used to make walls when building on a Wooden Foundation.
Feed Box	Tech Level: 4 Points: 2 Wood (x20)	• Used for hands-off feeding of Pals. Pals will automatically approach the Feed Box whenever they are hungry.
Berry Plantation	Tech Level: 5 Points: 2 Berry Seeds (x3) Wood (x20) Stone (x20)	Accepted Work Suitabilities: Planting Watering Gathering • Serves as a good beginning source of food. • Produces Red Berries.
Ranch	Tech Level: 5 Points: 2 Wood (x50) Stone (x20) Fiber (x30)	Accepted Work Suitability: Farming • Item drops here are produced depending on the kind of the Pal working in it and its Partner Skill. Recommended Drops: Vixy → Random (such as basic Pal Spheres) Chikipi → Egg Lamball → Wool

Once you have your Pal Box and Primitive Workbench constructed at the beginning of the game's tutorial, the above structures are what you want to prioritize when starting in Palworld.

These structures should be relatively easy to get items for since most materials can be gathered nearby. Wool can be obtained from defeating or capturing nearby Lamballs.

Primitive Furnace	Tech Level: 10 Points: 3 Wood (x20) Stone (x50) Flame Organ (x3)	Accepted Work Suitability: Kindling • Essential for forming Ingots from Ores for crafting other valuable structures like the High Quality Workbench.
Crusher	Tech Level: 8 Points: 2 Wood (x50) Stone (x20) Paldium Fragment (x10)	Accepted Work Suitability: Watering • Useful for producing Paldium Fragments from Stone through the Watering Work Suitability, making it more convenient to acquire this resource than mining chunks.
Stone Pit	Tech Level: 7 Points: 2 Stone (x50) Wood (x20) Paldium Fragment (x10)	Accepted Work Suitability: Mining • Useful artifical farming spot to obtain more Stone. Position near storage for Pals to transport resources to!
Logging Site	Tech Level: 7 Points: 2 Wood (x50) Stone (x20) Paldium Fragment (x1)	Accepted Work Suitability: Lumbering • Like the Stone Pit, another useful artifical farming spot to obtain Wood. Position near storage for easy Pal transportation.
Statue of Power	Tech Level: 6 Points: 2 Stone (x20) Paldium Fragment (x10)	• Allows you to level up your Catching Power with Lifmunk Effigies found throughout the world. • You can also improve your individual Pals by offering Pal Souls through this structure.
High Quality Workbench	Tech Level: 11 Points: 3 Ingot (x15) Wood (x50) Nail (x10)	Accepted Work Suitability: Handiwork • Gives you access to crafting more tools using materials like Ingots and Nails. • Production here is faster than the Primitive Workbench.
Pal Gear Workbench	Tech Level: 6 Points: 2 Paldium Fragment (x10) Wood (x30) Cloth (x20)	Accepted Work Suitability: Handiwork • Gives you access to crafting Pal Gear that unlock certain Pals' Partner Skills (like saddles used to allow mounting of Pals).
Medieval Medicine Workbench	Tech Level: 12 Points: 2 Wood (x30) Nail (x10) Paldium Fragment (x10)	Accepted Work Suitability: Medicine Production • Gives you access to crafting medicine used for treating various Pal sickness and injuries like Fracture or Overfull.
Viewing Cage	Tech Level: 15 Points: 2 Wood (x10) Stone (x20) Paldium Fragment (x10)	• Instantly revives unconscious Pals and lets them regenerate health slowly. • It doesn't count Pals stored in the Pal Box, and acts as an additional Pal Storage with extra 40 slots.

By this point, you should have properly organized your base and would be on your way to gathering Ore to make Ingots. By Level 15, you can start considering Mills, Wheat Plantations, and Monitoring Stands if you are thinking of more closely managing your base.

Metal Chest	Tech Level: 17 Points: 2 Ingot (x15) Wood (x30)	• Can store more items that a wooden chest.
Stone Structure Set	Tech Level: 18 Points: 3 Stone (x3)	• Immune to fire and prevents its spread to other structures unlike wood.
Weapon Workbench	Tech Level: 20 Points: 3 Ingot (x15) Fiber (x50) Nail (x10)	• Allows the crafting of guns such as Muskets and Makeshift Handgun.
Fluffy Pal Bed	Tech Level: 24 Points: 2 Cloth (x10) Wood (x30) Nail (x5) Fiber (x10)	• Better recovery for sleeping Pals' HP and SAN recovery.
Cooking Pot	Tech Level: 17 Points: 2 Wood (x20) Ingot (x15) Flame Organ (x3)	• Allows for the cooking of better food recipes such as the Jam-filled Bun. • Better food has higher sanity recovery for Pals.

In the mid-game, you will be seeing more use for Ingots often. You will need these for structures like the Weapon Workbench which will allow you to produce guns.

This will also be the period where you will be ready to start breeding Pals through the Breeding Farm. Rare pals can come out of breeding and it can be used to control which Pals can have specific skills like the Lucky Passive Skill.
