Burden Elixir	Extremely valuable elixir that permanently raises carrying capacity when consumed. Ineffective when used by Pals.
Burden Remedy	Extremely valuable potion that permanently raises carrying capacity by a slight amount when consumed. Ineffective when used by Pals.
Cake	A dish that is eaten during celebrations. Put it in the chest at your breeding farm to have a Pal lay a particularly healthy egg.
Caprity Meat	Healthy and full of nutrients. Hints of berries scenting the meat stimulates the appetite.
Carbon Fiber	A lightweight yet sturdy material. Used to create armor among other equipment.
Carbonara	A dish mixing pasta with Egg and Milk. Eating it makes it harder for sanity to decrease and improves Defense by +10% for a certain amount of time.
Carrying Lotus (L)	Large purple flower that is extremely difficult to obtain. Needed to make Carrying Elixirs.
Carrying Lotus (S)	Small purple flower that is extremely difficult to obtain. Needed to make Carrying Remedies.
Cavern Mushroom	Mushroom that grows prolifically in caves. Can be made into healing medicine.
Cement	Cement used for creating structures and more. Can be produced in a High Quality Workbench.
Charcoal	Charcoal made from burning Wood. It can be combined with Sulfur to create Gunpowder.
Chikipi Poultry	Light and easy to it, it's a local favorite for residents of Palpagos Island.
Chikipi Saute	Plump poultry sauteed in butter. Accented with fresh lemons. Eat to slightly increase work speed for a period of time.
Circuit Board	Circuit Board required to create precision equipment. Can be made at High Quality Workbench.

Dog Coin	A mysterious coin. Apparently there are people who collect these. Mimog has it, but for some reason, it cannot be obtained by dismantling it.

Dumud Chowder	Dumud lavishly covered in a thick, creamy soup. Eat to increase work speed and stay full slightly longer for a period of time.
Earth Skill Fruit: Sand Tornado	Utilizing it on Pal allows Sand Tornado to be learned.

Ore	Becomes an ingot when refined using a furnace. Can be found in caves and other places. There are rumors of Pals capable of detecting ore.
Pal Fluids	Body fluids taken from a Pal. Useful for its high viscosity.
Pal Metal Ingot	Material required to create weapons and armor using Pal Metal. Made stronger by creating an alloy from metal and Paldium.
Paldium Fragment	Crystallized energy from the World Tree. Capable of creating supernatural items and structures.
Pancake	A dish baked by mixing Flour and Milk together and then baking. Eating it progressively decreases the rate at which one's sanity decreases for a period of time.
Penking Plume	Plume dropped from a Penking. Used to make clothing.
Pizza	A dish made by piling Red Berries, Tomato and cheese on Bread. Eating it improves Defense by +15% temporarily.
Plasteel	Plasteel created by processing Crude Oil and metal. Can be produced in an Electric Furnace.
Polymer	Made from refined oil. Required for producing various advanced items such as rifles.
Power Fruit	Precious fruit that is extremely difficult to obtain. Slightly increases a Pal's attack.

Swee Hair	Hair dropped from a Swee. Fluffy and soft, it is used to make clothing.

Tomato	A fresh ingredient that brightens any dish. Filled with lycopene, they're also very healthy.

How to Get Materials

Dropped by Pals

Enemy Pals you encounter in the overworld may possibly drop one to two materials. Once you capture an enemy your Paldeck will show you what other possible drops can come from an enemy.

Alpha Bosses and Lucky Pals Give Rare Items

Alpha Bosses and Lucky Pals drop Ancient Civilization Parts and possibly Legendary Schematics and rare accessories. These are needed to create Ancient Technology and some of the best gear in the game.

Increase Materials Gained with Some Pals

Some Pals, such as Elphidran, Orserk, and Cryolinx, have special Partner Skills that increase the amount of items you get when defeating Pals of a specific element. There's one for every element type, so it's best to catch at least one of each for farming.

Crafting Constructs

Food is used in managing your character's Hunger bar, as well as your Pals'. A fully depleted hunger bar will cause you to lose HP to a minimum of one (1). Fortunately, you will not die from hunger.

Pals, however, will risk starving, and worse, become incapacitated should their Hunger bar fully deplete.
