You can put out and avoid fires by having water type Pals in your base or going into disassembly mode and building stone structures in Palworld. Read on to know how to put out and avoid fires as well as what causes your structure to catch fire.
You can put out fires by having a Water type Pal working on your base. They will automatically douse the fire and extinguish it as much as they can.
If you also have a water type Pal in your party, you can choose to release the pall and it will automatically put out the fire.

During a case when there are no available Water Type Pals available for you. the most effective way to prevent the fire from spreading is to disassemble the structures that are on fire.
In order to do this, you must go to the Disassembly Menu and dismantle the selected structure.
How to Destroy and Move Structures
To prevent structures from catching fire, a viable solution is to construct buildings and structures using a Stone-based foundation which are ultimately waterproof and will not catch fire.
To do this, you must unlock the Stone Structure Set under the Technology tab.
How to Get Stone Structure Set
During raids, both enemy humans and Pals will do their best to overturn your base, potentially resulting in its destruction.
If defenses against raids prove unsuccessful and the enemies successfully win, your structures will be set ablaze as a result.
Engaging in combat with a Fire Type enemy Pal near your base is highly unadvisable, as their attacks have the potential to harm your base and may even result in it catching fire.
It is best to fight Fire Type enemy Pals away from your base, especially if it's an Alpha Boss, which is considerably stronger than regular Pals.
