When Do Items and Resources Respawn?

In Palworld, items and resources gathered from the surroundings respawn after a certain amount of in-game days. Read on to learn which objects respawn and if the respawn may be prevented.

When Do Items Respawn?

After a Full In-Game Day

After harvesting, objects that provide resources such as trees, rocks, or paldium nodes respawn after about a full in-game day.

During our testing, we found that even chests respawn and sometimes turn into a different color or type!

Structures May Prevent Respawn

Building a structure on a spot where an object would normally respawn will prevent it from respawning so avoid building a structure on resource nodes that you plan to harvest!

When Do Chests Respawn?

Respawns After Nine In-Game Days

It was observed that chests can respawn after nine in-game days. In case they have not, it is best to keep looking for chests in unexplored areas of the day.

Having a fast Flying Mount with you can help tremendously in scouting out chests, especially in rough terrain or high places where chests are likely to be positioned on.
