Update Available Now!
The Palworld: Tides of Terraria Update was released on all platforms on June 25, 2025!
Following the previous teasers and trailers, the Tides of Terraria update will introduce new mechanics, new Pals, and a new Area, on top of the Palworld x Terraria collaboration.
Tides of Terraria Collaboration Details
Moon Lord
From the release date trailer, the Moon Lord is shown briefly at the end of the trailer.
The Moon Lord is the final boss of Terraria, so its appearance in Palworld may be in the form of another Raid Boss.
Eye of Cthulhu
As seen from the announcement posts, the collaboration features an Eye of Cthulhu, one of Terraria's early game bosses.
Since the Eye of Cthulhu is a boss from Terraria, it's appearance in Palworld will likely be in the form of a Raid Boss.
Terraria Monsters Can be Captured
Further details on Palworld's announcement on Steam hints at catching, training, fighting, and working monsters from Terraria, which means that the monsters from Terraria like the Eye of Cthulhu can be caught similarly to other Pals.

Facing off against the Eye of Cthulhu, we see a player clad in Hallowed Armor and wielding the Terra Blade. If these items will be added to the game, it will likely be similar to the Meowmere, which was first introduced during the Palworld x Terraria crossover.
Version 0.6 Details
New Ice Biome
Aside from the Terraria Collaboration, we also get a glimpse of a new Ice region coming this update, along with new Ice-themed Pals, and a Fishing Mechanic to catch underwater Pals.
This new frozen Biome will likely be introduced as a New Island, similar to Sakurajima.
New Pals
More new Pals were also shown, all following the same underwater theme, with a Cecaelia Pal (Half-human, half-octopus), a Fish Mascot Pal, and a Kraken-like Pal in the background.
The location of the new pals also seem to hint at a Shipwreck, which we will likely see in the new Island.
New Pal Variants
Lastly, we see new variants of existing pals, such as the Electric Pengullet, and what appears to be a Dark Croajiro.
