Use a Crusher to Mass Produce Paldium Fragments

As soon as you unlock the Crusher, you no longer need a base dedicated to mining for Paldium Fragments. Keep this in mind before you fully build out one of your bases.

These bases are ideal for the early game right as you start a new save. Build one as soon as possible so that you can start mass producing Pal Spheres to catch all the Pals you want.

This spot is one of the best starting locations to build a base. It's easy to get to upon starting the game, and it has several sources of Paldium Fragments and basic resources. It also has a lot of early game Pals that you can farm for food or labor.
Beginner's Guide: Tips and Tricks to Get Started
Plateau of Beginnings (South): 264, -548

The southern coast of the Plateau of Beginnings is a large area with a few mining nodes for Paldium Fragments nearby. It is also right next to a dungeon where you can mine Ore and Paldium Fragments, get dungeon Pals and their materials, and get Pal Spheres from the Syndicate Thugs inside.
We recommend replacing this base with one that can farm Ores, Coals, or other necessary resources when you progress further in the game. You can then farm Paldium Fragments by crushing Stone in the Crusher with a Pal with the Watering Work Suitability.
Palworld Paldium Fragment Base Tips
Use Mining Focused Pals
With the amount of mineral deposits in the area, we recommend bringing a large number of Pals to work here strictly for mining. The more mining Pals you have, the better the chances that they will work on mining the Paldium Fragment deposits.
Avoid Pals that also are suited for logging to prevent them from logging the copious amount of trees in the area.
Have a Food-farming base to supply this base and do runs delivering food between each base by fast travelling.
Can Also Be Mined From Normal Rock Piles
There's also a chance you can get Paldium Fragments just by mining normal rock piles. This means you can passively get these fragments while you're collecting Stones!
Get From Large Paldium Nodes Inside Dungeons
Large Paldium nodes will be located inside some of the dungeons in the world. Make sure you have equipped your highest quality pickaxe to maximize the amount of Paldium Fragments you will gain from these nodes!

If you have a surplus of Stone, you can create a Paldium Fragment from 5 Stones with a Crusher. To operate it, you'll need a Pal with the Watering or Cooling Work Suitability depending on the type of Crusher you're using.
Tweak Your World Settings
Resources respawn after a full in-game day has passed, so set the respawn rate of resources in your World by setting the Gatherable Objects Respawn Interval metric to 0.5.
Doing this speeds up the respawn times of every resource in your World, and allows you to continuously automate Ore in your base.
