Tutorial Steps Simplified

① Gather items to build a Primitive Workbench and a Palbox ② Craft a Pal Sphere. Gathering crafting resources for this item can be made easier by creating tools at your workbench. ③ Catch Pals for experience and level up your base by building the prescribed structures. ④ Grind until you are ready to defeat the first boss, Zoe and Grizzbolt. ⓘ Afterwards, you are free to explore the island and take on other bosses.

When starting out in Palworld, you will be given a set of objectives involving catching pals and setting up a base. These are necessary stepping stones for advancing your progress and taking on tough challenges.

The main story of Palworld is still yet to develop since the most you can do is explore and defeat other bosses after Zoe and Grizzbolt. To learn about the story behind the island of Palworld and its inhabitants, you will have to search for logs scattered throughout the map.

Beginner's Guide

Defeat All Tower Bosses

All Tower Bosses
Zoe and Grizzbolt (Lvl. 10)	Lily and Lyleen (Lvl. 25)

At present, there are a total of five (5) Tower Bosses that can be fought, each with varying levels. Make use of the Palworld Interactive Map if you need help finding them!

Prepare the best pals and gear, and level up as much as you can before the fight. Do not worry too much if you fall in battle with them, since any dropped items, including Pals, are relocated to the tower entrance upon death.

Catch All Pals

Aiming to complete Palworld means registering all of Pals onto your Paldeck which is a master record that displays relevant information for each Pal.

There are some straightforward ways in which you can obtain Pals to get them registered on your Paldeck:

• Catch Pals by weakening them and using Pal Spheres.
• Rescue and free captive Pals in Syndicate camps (usually guarded by Syndicate Thugs, Gunners, etc.).
• Buy Pals at a Pal Merchant (one can be found at the Small Settlement) or a Black Marketeer.
• Trade Pals with other players in a Multiplayer server.

When looking for Pals in the overworld, make sure check around also during nighttime, since some new Pals only appear during that part of the day (like Daedream, for example).

Pick Up Journal Logs

Logs appear is bluish floating tablets on a pedestal, and are treated like collectibles. They serve as journals detailing the lore of Palworld through eyes of its different inhabitants.

You will want to also look out for merchants that sell valuable items and Schematics, as well as Black Marketeers which offer rare Pals for a price.

What to Do After Main Story

Look for Rare and Legendary Pals

Progression in Palworld is open-ended, so even after defeating the main bosses, you are still free to venture into unexplored areas and look for rare Pals to capture and defeat such as Alpha Bosses and Legendary Pals.

Some areas at the corners of the map (such as Wildlife Sanctuaries) serve as good places obtaining rare Pals. Other ways to obtain more pals include breeding) at a Breeding Farm. Make the most of breeding to get Pals with the strongest combination of element and [Passive Skills]!

What to Do in Palworld

It has been indicated in Palworld's roadmap that new islands are pinned for a future update. This could point the present state of Palworld to the possibility of a full-fledged story in the future.

Other updates include Technologies which could mean new ways to explore and build your base (or possibly a higher level cap related to the game's story.)
