Meteorite Events are random events that spawn some of the new Pals and Meteorite Fragments in Palworld. Read on to learn how to start the meteor event, rewards you can get from this event, and more in this guide!
When a Meteorite Event occurs, it will be marked on your map with a symbol of a meteor on it. You should also be able to see it on the HUD.
Meteorite drops are one of two random sky events that happen periodically near your current location, similar to Base Raids if you're in a base. The other sky event that can occur is a Supply Drop.
Once a Meteorite drops, its distance from you can be seen on your compass at the top of your screen.
As of Version 0.3.4, you can now change the interval settings of meteorite events. If you are having a hard time getting a meteor to drop from the sky, try changing your world settings so you can easily get an event.
Palworld Version 0.3.4 Patch Notes and Updates (7/29)
If you get the notification for a Supply Drop, but you really want a Pal from a Meteorite Event, you can reroll the sky event that occurs at that point by starting the game from backup save data from before the Supply Drop event.
However, this method only works for those playing Palworld on Steam.
# | How to Reroll Meteorite Events |
---|---|
1 | Go back to the title screen after you get the Supply Drop notification. |
2 | Choose Start Game, and select the world you were just in. |
3 | Select Restore from Backup Data from the options at the bottom. |
4 | Choose an autosave that was made at a time before the Supply Drop notification. |
5 | Repeat the steps above if you still don't get your desired Meteorite Event. |
How to Back Up Save Data in Palworld
If a Meteorite Event happens on Sakurajima, a Selyne spawn will come alongside it.
If the meteorite event happens anywhere else on Palpagos, you can still harvest the meteorite and defeat Xenovaders, but Selyne will not spawn.
Selyne Location and How to Catch
When a Meteorite Event happens, a Xenogard can also spawn along with it.
Xenogard is a stronger Alpha Pal, and can be a great addition to any team once captured!
When a Meteorite Event happens, several Xenovader will always spawn along with it.
Xenovader drop Meteorite Fragments upon death, adding to the total amount of Meteorites you can get when you catch or defeat them.
The meteorite that crashes on Palpagos can be harvested, giving you Meteorite Fragments that you can use for crafting.
Harvest Meteorite Fragments using a Pickaxe or a Pal with a Mining Work Suitability to maximize your loot.
How to Get Meteorite Fragment: All Recipes and Effects
If there is an existing Meteorite Event, you cannot trigger another one until the former event has been completed.
To do this, you must collect all Meteorite Fragments first and harvest the Meteorite until it dissolves.
