Items and Pals can be dropped on the ground and shared with others in Palworld's Multiplayer mode. See how to drop items and pals, and if you can drop Key Items!
Any item in your inventory can be dropped to the ground by simply dragging it to the Drop button at the bottom left of the screen. If you're playing multiplayer, other players can take the item you dropped.
You may find this function useful if you've reached your maximum Carrying Capacity and need to quickly lighten your load!
How to Increase Carrying Capacity (Weight)
If you want to delete an item instead, drag the item to the Discard button right beside the Drop button. Be warned that this is irreversible and you won't be able to get your item back!
Unlike regular items in your inventory, Key Items cannot be dropped. Most Key Items are crafted Pal Gear and you aren't able to share them with other players by dropping them.
If you have the Daedream's Necklace Key Item and have Daedream in your party, it will automatically attack any Pals that attack you. Since this Key Item cannot be dropped, Daedream will always attack unless told not to.
You can command Daedream to not attack aggressively through the Pal Commands Menu by pressing 4 on Keyboard or Right Stick on Controller.
Pals can also be dropped by opening the menu and selecting the Party Tab. Choose the Pal you wish to drop and press F on Keyboard or Right Stick on Controller.
Like items, Pals dropped on the ground can be picked up by other players in multiplayer mode.
