Hopping onto a Flying Mount and flying straight up will cause the PIDF to stop spawning, as they do not have any room to spawn in the air.
PIDF Enemies may first spawn while you are ascending, but the moment they can no longer spawn, your wanted level will also be removed.
Similar to other games with a Wanted system, hiding from the PIDF for a certain amount of time should eventually cause them to give up and remove your Wanted status. An effective way to out of sight is to drop down from cliffs and hide under them to make it harder for them to find you.
No one can know about your crimes when there's nobody left to rat you out. Killing all the witnesses who saw you should remove the Wanted status. It's ideal to do this before the PIDF show up, or else you'll need to take them out, too.
The fastest and easiest method to remove the Wanted status is to simply die. You'll need to retrieve your items again if you're on Normal difficulty or higher, but at least you won't be Wanted once you revive.
If you find yourself in a situation where you can't hide and don't want to drop your items, you can leave the game and load it again so you can return to the same spot without the Wanted status. This works since saving doesn't keep the status.
Getting the Wanted status means you've done questionable acts, such as trespassing in a Sanctuary or assaulting your Pals or other NPCs. These are triggered when someone witnesses you doing these criminal acts, so getting rid of them should also remove your Wanted status.
When you commit crimes such as attacking other humans, you're breaking the laws of Palworld. To enforce these rules, the Palapagos Island Defense Force (PIDF) marks spotted violators with the Wanted status and will try to kill them on sight. There is no way to negotiate with the PIDF, so the only way to stop them from pursuing you is to remove the Wanted status using the methods above.
