List of Sicknesses and Injuries

Palworld - List of Sicknesses and Injuries

Pals can get sick and sustain injuries in Palworld. Read on to learn more about all the sicknesses and injuries in Palworld and how to cure them!

List of Sicknesses and Injuries

All Sicknesses and Injuries

When Pals are damaged, overworked, or neglected, they may get one of the following injuries:

  • Hungry
  • Starving
  • Sick (Cold)
  • Sprain
  • Overfull
  • Ulcer
  • Fracture
  • Weakened
  • Depressed
  • Incapacitated
  • Minor Injury
  • Major Injury

These statuses can cause negative effects such as reduced working speed or inability to work, so it's important to maintain high Sanity for Pals. Ensure that the Pals are kept happy and sane by providing for their needs.

How to Cure Sicknesses and Injuries

Use Medicine on Injured Pals

Sickness/Injury Cure
Hungry Food
Starving
Sick (Cold) Low Grade Medical Supplies
Sprain
Overfull
Ulcer Medical Supplies
Fracture
Weakened High Grade Medical Supplies
Depressed
Incapacitated Return and keep in Palbox for 10 minutes
Minor Injury Allow to rest in pal beds
Major Injury

Certain injuries require specific types of Medicine that are crafted from a Medieval Medicine Workbench. However, some sicknesses and injuries can be resovled simply by providing the needs of your pals such as food, beds, and hot springs.

Pay careful attention to what medical status your Pal has so that you do not accidentally give the wrong medicine!

How to Fix Pal Injuries

List of Combat Status Effects

Status Effects Description
Blind • When a Blind status effect is inflicted, you should see a dark cloud over the target's eyes.
• When a Player gets inflicted with Blind, their vision will be dimmed, and Pals will often miss when attacking.
Burn • Fire attacks and some Dragon elemental attacks from Pals can cause Burn which deals damage over time on the affected targets.
• Players can also get Burned when they stand on Campfires, get hit by flamethrowers, and stand on lava.
Frozen • When hit with a Frozen status effect, the target gets enveloped in ice and is immobilized for a short amount of time.
Electrocuted • Getting hit by Electric skills and weapons like Shock Grenade and Stun Baton can cause the Electrocuted status effect, and renders the inflicted as Stunned for a short amount of time.
Entangled • Although it rarely happens, getting hit by Grass skills inflicts the Entangled status effect.
• The inflicted's movement will be slowed, and Players cannot make any action that needs stamina until the status effect wears off.
Poison • Getting hit by Dark Pal skills can get you in a Poisoned state which deals damage over time on both Pals and Players.

These are all of the Status Effects that are currently present in-game and their descriptions. These status effects are highly likely to get encountered when the Player or their Pal is at an elemental disadvantage.

Craft at a Medieval Medicine Workbench

Palworld - Medieval Medicine Workbench

Palworld - Wood Material Wood (x30)
Palworld - Nail Material Nail (x5)

Since medicine is not exactly a common item that can be obtained anywhere, it is best that you craft these at a Medieval Medicine Workbench, which is open to being unlocked at Level 12 in the Technology Tree.

Once the structure has been set down, interact with it to manually make the craft medicine yourself or have a Pal with the Medicine Production Work Suitability work on a recipe. Lifmunk is one good early game Pal that has this Work Suitability.

Feed Hungry or Starving Pals

Palworld - Feed Hungry Pals

Pals that are simply Hungry or Starving may be cured by simply providing enough food. Ensure that the Feed Box is filled with ample food and is placed in an accessible location for your Pals to eat.

The Feed Box can be continuously supplied with food by Pals if you have a structure such as Berry Plantation being worked on.

Revive Incapacitated Pals in Palbox

Palworld - Revive Incapacitated Pals in the Palbox

Pals that reach 0 HP become incapacitated, and they can’t be healed with food or medicine.

Instead, incapacitated Pals must be placed in the Palbox to revive them. Reviving is not instant, and you will have to wait for 10 minutes before they will be healthy and ready to do anything again.

How to Revive Pals

Instant Revive and Heal Glitches

A glitch in Palworld allows players to instantly revive and heal pals to full health by moving them around your party, their sphere, and your Palbox.
