Enemy Faction Bases can be seen around the map in Palworld. Learn more about the Palworld Enemy Bases, their locations, rewards, and more in this guide!
List of Contents

The entirety of Palpagos Islands is home to multiple enemy faction base locations. Players can see the different factions scattered across the various regions and biomes, so be prepared for combat when you stumble upon one!
You may also sometimes see contending factions fighting against one another, making the game's lore richer and more immersive!

Faction bases are primarily situated in their territory and biome. You can expect to see a faction's base near their Raid Tower. However, faction bases can still be seen in enemy territories.

Enemy Bases are the main settlements for factions, as these are larger sites for enemies to stay in. These enemy bases boast more complex structures, including defenses, workbenches, and other buildables.

Enemy Camps are smaller settlements seen around the map, often having tents and equipment for the different factions. Enemy Camps usually have a Captured Pal, so be on the lookout to save these poor Pals!

Players can enter neutral settlements in Palworld to communicate with NPCs and trade with them. That being said, you can do criminal acts against these NPCs, making you an enemy of the PIDF.

Treasure Maps can sometimes be dropped by chests found in enemy bases. Look for this item, as they can lead you to item schematics.
Support Whistles are accessories that raise a Pal's elemental damage. They can be dropped by chests in Enemy Settlements.
Note that whistles are randomly dropped and are not based on a faction's affiliation to certain elements. Support whistle drops are mostly based on the biome in which the enemy camp is located.

Drops vary depending on the tier of the chest opened. You can get Pal Spheres, Pal Souls, Gold Coins, and other materials depending on the chest.
Item Schematics can occasionally drop from chests found in enemy settlements.

Occasionally, players may see Pals in locked cages when visiting these enemy bases. These Captured Pals will join you when you free them from the cage, so try to save them when you can!

Enemy faction bases act as safe havens for enemies, acting as their home settlements akin to that of a player's base.
Enemies can be seen having their sleeping quarters and crafting benches for weapons and capturing Pals.
| Faction | Description |
|---|---|
| Rayne Syndicate | ![]() Leader: Zoe Rayne This faction is made up of criminals focused on capturing Pals illegally. You can see their settlements near the Rayne Syndicate Tower. |
| Free Pal Alliance | ![]() Leader: Lily Everhart The Free Pal Alliance focuses on the relationship of Pals and humans, and strive towards ethical ways to treat and protect Pals. They can be seen near the Free Pal Alliance Tower. |
| Brothers of the Eternal Pyre | ![]() Leader: Axel Travers This faction worships the holy strength of fire and trailblazes their way towards a more naturalistic world without technology. Their bases can be seen in the Volcanic biome near the Eternal Pyre Tower. |
| Palpagos Island Defense Force (PIDF) | ![]() Leader: Marcus Dryden The PIDF enforces the law in Palworld and can be seen early on if you do criminal activities. You can see them in the desert biome near the PIDF Tower. |
| Pal Genetic Research Unit | ![]() Leader: Victor Ashford The Pal Genetic Research Unit is a faction devoted to the sciences, focused on improving Pals in unnatural and technological ways. They can be seen in the winter biome in the north. |
| Moonflower Clan | ![]() Leader: Saya Kurosaki The Moonflower Clan is a faction of ninjas located in the Sakurajima islands. Led by Saya, this clan believes and worships Selyne. |
| Feybreak Warriors | ![]() Leader: Bjorn Seligsson The Feybreak Warriors can be seen in Feybreak island. Unlike the other factions, the warriors have smaller settlements throughout the region with anti-air turret technology, so you can't see larger bases of this faction. |
The different factions and their clashing principles make up the world of Palworld and maintain a certain balance in the game's environment and lore.
In the future, it is highly likely that you can recruit and affiliate yourself with the different factions. In the Tides of Terraria update, players can ally themselves with Zoe, so it is likely that other faction leaders will also have their recruitment missions.
How to Recruit Zoe and Location

Enemy Bases received a major revamp in the Tides of Terraria update to make exploration feel more alive for players. Enemy factions feel more fleshed out as they have their bases similar to players' bases.
