Reach Level 55 With Both Player and Pals

The recommended level for you and your Pals for this boss fight is Level 55. Sakurajima is an area teeming with Level 50 and above Pals and you cannot survive if you are underleveled.

Saya and Selyne have powerful attacks that can easily have you dead in seconds. It is recommended that you prepare first and level up before fighting them.

Craft Legendary Weapons and Armor

Currently the best Legendary Armor is either the Legendary Cold Resistant Pal Armor or the Legendary Heat Resistant Pal Armor, both have the same stats but resists different temperatures.

As for the Legendary Weapon, the Legendary Rocket Launcher boasts the strongest attack among all weapons, the only downside is that it's schematic is a rare drop and it costs a lot to build.

Upgrade Pal Stats at Statue of Power

Before the battle make sure that you give your Pals' HP, Attack, and Defense by sacrificing Pal Souls to a nearby Statue of Power.

The stats boosted is percentage based so the higher level the Pal you upgrade, the more bonus it gets.

Use Pals With Dragon-Type Attacks

Selyne is a Dark element type Pal and is weak to Dragon-Type Skills. It is recommended that your party lineup consists mostly of Pals that have Dragon type skills such as Draconic Breath or Dragon Meteor.

One important Pal that is crucial to this lineup is Jetragon. This Pal has an exclusive Passive Skill called Divine Dragon which increases all Dragon Type attacks by 20%. Jetragon also has a Dragon type exclusive skill called Beam Comet, which is a really powerful skill against the Tower Boss.

Hide Behind Walls to Evade Attacks

Selyne has a variety of ranged attacks that can easily be avoided by hiding behind walls.

This does not mean that she won't follow you though, so just use this strategy when Selyne begins charging up a fire ball or begins throwing a ranged attack towards you.

Aim For Saya While Your Pal Battles Selyne

One good strategy to inflict heavy damage is to bypass Selyne and go straight to Saya. You can do this by having your Pal battle Selyne while you keep a distance and attack Saya from afar.

Saya is sitting atop Selyne and cannot be missed. Have your best weapon ready, preferably a Rocket Launcher or any of its variants, and attack her continuously.

5 Ancient Technology Points and a Fast Travel Point

Similar to other tower bosses, you can get Character EXP, Pal EXP, and 5 Ancient Technology Points for beating Victor and Shadowbeak. The amount of EXP you gain depends on the World Settings.

In addition, upon completing the battle, you'll unlock a new Fast Travel Point on top of the tower, which also grants an extra Technology Point. You can use a Glider from here to more conveniently reach nearby areas.
