How to Find Sakurajima Island

Fly or Swim Northwest

Sakurajima island is found northwest of the map, which you can immediately access as Palworld is an open world game.

To go there, you can head to the Ice Wind Island fast travel point and use a Mount Pal that can fly or swim to get there quickly.

If you do not have the Ice Wind Island fast travel point unlocked or most of the map revealed, the island is found north of the volcano region which is found southwest of the map.

Palworld - Fly to Sakurajima

Sakurajima can be found in the top left area of the map between the volcanic and snowy areas of the map. After downloading the Version 0.3.1 update, the island will appear in the game as well as in your map.

Tough Pals and Enemies on the Island

Palworld - Wild Pals in Sakurajima

Sakurajima is meant to be a location visited late in the game, as wild Pals and enemies alike are at level 50 and above. It is recommended to only go there once you've reached that level.
