Weight Explained

Palworld - Weight Explained

Weight determines how many items you can carry in Palworld. Read on to learn more about the game's carry weight mechanic and how to increase your carry weight!

Weight Explained

Lets You Carry More Items

Palworld - Carry Weight Explained

Weight in Palworld is tied to the items you gather in the game. The more items you have in your inventory, the more carrying capacity you need to still be able to move normally without being weighed down.

Your current carry weight limit is displayed in your inventory. If you are past 50% of your maximum carry weight, the weight meter will show up on your HUD every time you pick up a new item.

Carrying Over the Limit Slows You Down

Almost every item in Palworld has its own weight value. Once the total weight of all the items in your inventory goes over your current weight limit, you will be overencumbered, move slower, and not be able to run.

If you're carrying over 50 past your weight stat, your walk speed will be reduced to the slowest, and you'd want to drop some items so you can move around back to the normal speed.
