You can farm Dog Coins by defeating Mimogs or opening chests in Palworld's Sakurajima Summer Update. Read on to learn how and where you can use Dog Coins, its effects, how to get Dog Coin, and more!

Defeat Mimogs

Palworld - Trap Mimog.png

Defeating Mimogs will have them drop Dog Coins as loot. Mimogs spawn randomly throughout Palpagos Island and are difficult to fight due to them always running away.

One good strategy is to trap the Mimog using defensive walls before engaging it in battle so that it cannot run away. Unfortunately, butchering Mimogs will not provide Dog Coins.

Human enemies such as the Syndicate Thugs or those who belong to factions sometimes drop Dog Coins when you defeat them in battle.

Loot Items From Scraps

Palworld - Scrap

Scraps are a newly added feature in Palworld and these are scattered all throughout the overworld.

These scraps provide random rewards and can sometimes provide Dog Coins as well.

Get From Treasure Chests

Palworld - Chest

Treasure Chests scattered all throughout the islands and inside dungeons can occassionally provide a random number of Dog Coins.

Purchase Items From Medal Merchant

Palworld - Medal Merchant

The Medal Merchant is a new type of Merchant that only accepts Dog Coins as a currency for trade.

Depending on the amount of Dog Coins you have, you can buy items such as Pal Skins, Skill Fruits, and Elixirs.
