Level Up and Get Strong Items and Pals
Unfortunately, there is currently no quick strategy to farm Ancient Technology Points as they are locked to specific bosses scattered across the world.
However, you can quickly defeat these bosses if you can farm XP and level up quickly to upgrade your stats, equipment, and pals.
Defeat or Capture Alpha Pals in the Open World
Alpha Pals found in the open world rewards players with one (1) Ancient Technology Point the first time they are defeated or captured. They also drop Ancient Civilization Parts which are used in constructing some Ancient Technology items.
These Alpha Bosses respawn, but defeating them the second time does not reward any more Ancient Technology Points besides their loot and EXP.
Find Alpha Pals Location on the Map
Alpha Pals will appear on the map as icons eventually as you explore even when you have not visually seen them. For example, you will notice Broncherry Aqua marked on the map even though that Pal is located inside a mineshaft.
After having defeated or captured an Alpha Pal, you can come back to their marked location later to check if they have respawned. Note that defeating or capturing the same Pal a second time will no longer give Ancient Technology Points so you will have to look for other Alpha Pals.

Defeat Tower Bosses to Get 5 Ancient Technology Points
Tower Bosses, such as Zoe and Grizzbolt, reward players with five (5) Ancient Technology Points for the first time they defeat the boss. These Tower Bosses can be rematched, but subsequent wins against them will no longer reward Ancient Technology Points.
In total, defeating all seven Tower Bosses give you up to thirty-five (35) Ancient Technology Points. These fights are pretty difficult, so careful planning and preparation are recommended.

As of Feybreak, there are currently seven (7) Tower Bosses in the game, all of which can be challenged within their respective towers. Each tower should be easy to spot from far away since they all share a similar design of a tall tower with a Paldium-colored glow.
Tower Bosses are tough opponents, so make sure prepare the best equipment and combat Pals before fighting them!
Defeat or Capture Bounties
The Feybreak update introduced Bounties which can be described as Human Alpha Bosses. Like their Pal counterparts, defeating or capturing them for the first time rewards an Ancient Technology Point.

Ancient Technology Points are used to research items in the Ancient Technology section of the Technology Tree. This tree section contains useful items such as the Grappling Gun or essential breeding structures such as the Egg Incubator.

One of the first Ancient Technology you may want to unlock first is the Egg Incubator to hatch any Eggs you find in the world or that result from breeding. Eggs are typically heavy and will give you Pals when hatched. You can then focus on getting the Pal Essence Condenser after to boost existing Pals.
You can then focus on getting equipment that gives you more QoL options like the Grappling Gun which makes it easier to traverse run terrain and the Small Feed Bag to get to keep your hunger managed automatically.
What are Technology Points?
Used for Your Base, Pal Gear, and Equipment
Technology Points are used for unlocking structures and equipment to craft. Each level up your character makes grants Technology Points used to unlock Structures, craftable Items, and even Pal Gear.
The fastest known way to level up is by completing some Pal catching missions, which means capturing the same Pal species about five (5) times for extra XP, and another five to a total of ten (10) times for another large XP gain.
