Pals cannot evolve in Palworld but can be strengthened and leveled up. Read on to know if Pals can evolve in Palworld and how to make your Pals stronger!
While some Pals in Palworld may look like they are part of the same evolution tree, such as Pengullet and Penking, or Sparkit and Grizzbolt, Pals cannot evolve in Palworld.
Instead, Palworld emphasizes the uniqueness of each Pal and enhancing their strength. Similar-looking Pals appear to only occupy the same environment as each other but are different species distinct from one another.
The easiest way to make a Pal stronger is by leveling them and maxing out their XP.
It is important to note that only the Pals working at your base and those accompanying you in your adventures can gain XP.
You can make yourself and your Pals stronger by using the Statue of Power and offering Liffmunk Effigies or Pal Souls.
You can find Statues of Power all over the map in Palworld, and if you've unlocked the required schematic under the Technology tab, you can build one for yourself.

In order to produce stronger Pals, you can utilize breeding and hatching eggs to create Fusion Pals.
Breeding identical Pals can result in a stronger version through the creation of an egg. Alternatively, you can experiment with different combinations to see what unique outcomes you can generate.
Breeding and Hatching Eggs require you to have a Breeding Farm and an Incubator, both can be unlocked by using Technology Points in the Technology tab.
Breeding Guide and Best Breeding Combos
Skill Fruits are consumable items that when eaten by your Pal, they can gain skills. Skill Fruits come from Skill Trees that are scattered and located all over the map for players to find.
Each Skill Fruit has their own elemental skill that can be learned by your Pals regardless of their elemental typing.
Albeit being the harshest way to go, you can sacrifice pals to make a certain pal stronger. This is done by using a Pal Distillation Pod.
The Pal Distillation Pod can rank up a selected Pal by combining it with several other Pals of the same species.
