Spheres are the fundamental building blocks of Palworld as you will need these in order to catch Pals. There are many variants of Spheres but in the early game, you will have access to Pal spheres.
Craft them immediately and start your catching journey.
List of All Pal Spheres and How to Farm
One of the first things you'll be asked to craft in the tutorial is the Palbox. Pals you catch that don't fit into your party are sent here. It also serves as the foundation of your base.
The basic things you'll need while establishing your base include a Wooden Chest and a Campfire. Once you have Pals populating your base, get a Logging Site and Stone Pit to easily get resources, and don't forget to get a Feed Box and a Berry Plantation to prevent you and your Pals from going hungry!
Best Base Locations and How to Move Bases
Tools are essential for mining resources, and having a pickaxe proves highly beneficial for this task. Your tools will undergo improvement as your Technology Tree expands.
In the early game, you will have access to the Stone Pickaxe. Crafting it as early as possible will significantly aid in base building.
How to Craft Stone Pickaxe and Stats
If you catch a ridable Pal such as Melpaca early on, it's a good idea to unlock their corresponding Pal Gear from the Technology tab to help with your exploration.
Other notable low-level Pal Gear to get are Daedream's Necklace to have Daedream help you out in combat and Foxparks's Harness to be able to use your Foxparks as a flamethrower.
Once you are level 15, catching a Nitewing and crafting the Nitewing Saddle is recommended since it allows you to fly, making exploration easier!
All Pals in the Paldeck (Monsters)
If you're enjoying the exploration aspect of Palworld, try unlocking the Normal Parachute to help you reach farther places more easily.
Alternatively, if you've managed to catch a Celaray, you can unlock its corresponding Key Item Celaray's Gloves to turn your Pal into your glider.
Best Glider Pals Tier List (July 2024)
Bow and Arrows are useful for fighting Flying Pals. There are many variants of Bows and Arrows that you will encounter during the game but initially, you will have access to the Old Bow.
Crafting these can help with hunting Pals, although replenishing arrows is a hassle as you need to craft these as well.
How to Craft Old Bow and Stats
Guns are useful for defeating enemies fast due to its power, it also is a ranged weapon so you don't need to come near enemies to fight them.
The downside to guns however, is that you do not have access to them during the early stages of the game. It will only be available to craft once your level is high enough.
How to Get a Gun Fast and Early in Palworld
Armor offers protection against stronger enemy Pals and aids in traversing lands with different climates, proving particularly useful when hunting higher-level Pals or journeying into regions with different climates.
Capturing a higher-leveled Pal becomes challenging without the right Sphere, and venturing into unknown territories may be difficult if your level isn't high enough. This perspective render armors less useful in such situations.
Clothes, Armor, and Accessories
Weapons are used to fight enemies. You will have access to level one weapons at the start of the game.
These are technically unlocked automatically since they don't require any Technology Points. However, it is a good idea to craft each of the level one Technology weapons immediately upon starting the game and obtaining the necessary resources.
This is not an immediate priority as you can also employ tools such as Pickaxes as weapons once obtained early on.
Decorations such as Furnitures, Training Dummies, and Signs, do not affect the game in any way and is not really a priority to craft.
