Mau Cryst's Partner Skill is Gold Digger. This lets it drop Gold Coins whenever it is assigned to a Ranch.

As for its other Work Suitabilities, it also has Cooling. This is great if you don't have any Coolers or Refrigerators since it will automatically assign itself to a Ranch. If you do have some in your base, make sure that Mau Cryst has been manually assigned to a Ranch so that it doesn't wander off doing other tasks.

This combination of passives is used so that Mau Cryst reduces the amount of time it spends having to eat, in turn maximizing the time it works at a Ranch.

Swift and Runner give a +50% Movement Speed bonus, allowing it to quickly move back and forth from the Feed Box.

Diet Lover and Dainty Eater reduce the rate at which it gets Hungry by -25%, making it less likely for them to have to leave the Ranch and eat food.

Some skills are exclusive to certain Pals, making the only way to get it on Mau Cryst is to pass it down via breeding.

Since it is a Fusion Pal, it can only be hatched from Eggs that were bred from a Pengullet and Mau. This means that you will need to perform a breeding chain if neither of the Parents have the skills you want to pass down to Mau Cryst.

Cryst Breath	An Ice-type attack that hits multiple enemies in front of Mau Cryst.
Iceberg	Another Ice-type attack in case Mau Cryst is out of range or stuck on terrain.
Sand Blast	A Ground-type attack in case of Fire-types that resist Ice-type attacks.

Do note that if you have raids turned off in the world settings, then active skills don't matter for Mau Cryst's best base build.
