Mau's Partner Skill is Gold Digger. This lets it drop Gold Coins whenever it is assigned to a Ranch.

As for its Work Suitabilities, it only has Farming. This is great because it will automatically assign itself to a Ranch and it won't wander off doing any other tasks.

Mau Best Passive Skills

Swift Runner
Diet Lover Dainty Eater

This combination of passives is used so that Mau reduces the amount of time it spends having to eat, in turn maximizing the time it works at a Ranch.

Swift and Runner give a +50% Movement Speed bonus, allowing it to quickly move back and forth from the Feed Box.

Diet Lover and Dainty Eater reduce the rate at which it gets Hungry by -25%, making it less likely for them to have to leave the Ranch and eat food.

Sand Tornado Its best attack since it provides crowd control while hitting multiple enemies.
Nightmare Ball The strongest Dark-type attack that it naturally learns.
Shadow Burst Another Dark-type attack that hits enemies around Mau.

Do note that if you have raids turned off in the world settings, then active skills don't matter for Mau's best base build.
